I'd like the "What's new" photos to come ONLY from the latest meetup.
"Allow More Choice on Highlighted Photos, Please!!" comes close, but I'd like the "What's new" photos to come ONLY from the latest meetup.

RSVP List
Print RSVP's so that they are more than just 8-10 rows with just one person per row.If i have 80-100 people show up then i have to use 8-10 pices pf paper.
Can't you make it so it prints out 8-10 rows with 6 or 7 per row. It would make it so much easier and save a ton of paper!

text notification of venue or date/time changes
An event was canceled and I didn't know it until I got to the place and found out the hard way. I get too many emails as it is, and updates by email are lost on me. I want to set critical updates to post on my phone by text or phone call.

To be able to send a text or that would upload to comments of an event.
To be able to send a text that would upload to comments of an event. I recently was hosting an event and internet access on my smartphone was impossible. So I could not post a comment on the event indicating to the other girls where we were at waiting for them. I could have been a catastrophy. I could however send a text. If there were a way to sync the two. I'm not even sure if this type of technology is available but it's a good thought.

One Logo or Image to represent my site instead of showing a random image when people search for meet up.
When my site comes up in meetup searches, a random image is taken from my photo libraries. I have images in library which are not a good rep. of my group. Can a logo or one image be the default for this purpose?

Categorize Events
I am a member of a group with several different organizers. I enjoy the events that a couple of the organizers host (museums, movies, etc.), but the other organizers are professional promoters and I never care about their events (dance clubs, booze cruises, etc.). Right now there is no way to distinguish among the group's various kinds of events. There should be a way to categorize events so that I can be notified only about those that I like. (In theory I could filter the e-mails, except that one of the promoters is named "Lou" and I obviously don't want…

Membership dues access control - ON/OFF for RSVP, meeting place, time, contact details
I manage a club and membership fees are needed but on meetup there is no difference between members who pay dues and those who don't. The membership dues system needs some control options:
Can RSVP (or not), can see meeting time and place (or not), can see contact details (or not).1 voteour team is currently looking into improving the controls / functionality of membership dues.

Account 'Global Calendar' with user controlled options
It would be nice to track all upcoming meetups tied to an account on a single calendar. User controlled color coding so each group would have a different color. Maybe the ability to show / hide groups from the calender on the fly.

Give member custom title
When editing member custom title on the members page, have cursor stay on the member just edited and saved instead of returning to the top of page one. I am editing every member to give them a title and I find it frustrating to be returned to page 1 and needing to page through to where I left off.

Don't force us to set the event limit to 1 participant in order for RSVPs to automatically go to waitlist.
I posted this under another heading, but wanted to edit the title to make it more clear what I was asking for. Couldn't figure out how to edit my suggestion, so I'm repeating it here.
As it is now, if we want control over whom we add to the Yes list based on who fulfills the requirements to go on a trip, we have to set the trip limit to 1 (ourselves). That shows that the event is full, and then when people sign up, it forces them on the waitlist instead of the Yes list, and then when they…

should delete their Introduction not that the meetup team has messed up the RSVP section.
I am deleting my Introduction on all the meetup groups I belong to so it is not being showed every stinking time I sign up for an event. I think everyone should do the same then maybe the people at meetup.com might get a clue that the new changes to RSVP and comment section is totally pain in the neck.

More control over RSVP settings in relation to moving waitlisters to Yes list
I am one of many organizers of one very large backpacking group. We require a liability to be signed in order to go, and to be emailed each attendees phone, emergency contact info, etc. before people can be moved to the Yes list. Half the time, people don't email the info, so we have to track them down, send multiple emails out. It became a huge pain in the butt, so the workaround is that we are now requiring that people put themselves on the waitlist, immediately email us the required info, and as they send us their info, we…

Send members directly to a link location after logon
Current situation:
When a currently loogged out member clicks on a link or enters a link that leads to a particular page/forum/event announcement on the meetup, that member is given the option to log on. After logon, the member is sent not to the link location, but to the Meetup's home page.Desired situation:
As with other networks, such as LinkedIn, send the member directly to the original link location after logon, not the meetup homescreen. After the member enters his/her logon information, Meetup should behave as if the member had been looged on already and THEN clicked on a…3 votes -
Allow organizers to provide members with a coupon code toward future registrations.
This would be optimal for marketing and business development for the group.

Provide better analytic tools and ways to contact members
Organizers need more robust ways to track participation in their groups, and quick access tools for contacting different groups of members. I would like to be able to a) see on the member page when the last time was that a member attended an event and/or how many events the member has attended (right now that information requires viewing the individual members page which is extra clicks), and b) be able to quickly email members who have not attended an event in X amount of time to encourage their participation. Right now, we can only view and email members based…

pin photo albums to top in order required
Ability to be able to choose certain photo albums to the top of the albums, and also be able to have ability to arrange/rearrange which one comes first.
This will enable ones which are essential to be seen and used bygroup to be always first.
ie. we are an art group, and therefore need albums for completed at home, completed on location, fast on location and done on ones own on location. These are in addition to the photos which appear in each meetup days album
Please this would be fantastic, as at present, they keep moving away and disappear…4 votes -

Please take people to the full announcement page to RSVP
I have spoken to several other organizers about this and they all agree that by giving members the option to RSVP without being taken to the full announcement page may be easier for our members, but more of a pain for us. We are spending far too much time answering emails to questions that are clearly answered in the announcement, People are so anxious to get into a Meetup they click on yes automatically and don't bother to click on the 'learn more' option. I have even asked on the setup page, have you read the full announcement? I'm always…
