Multiple meeting points and nominating which meeting point you would be at
I run a motorcycle meetup and quite often we have multiple meeting points, we are often waiting around waiting for people who have decided to go to the second or third meeting point.
Being able to nominate which meetup point you will be at would be good, also if there was a function to set multiple meeting locations.1 vote -
Allow Members to See the Group Description on the Home Page (not click elsewhere) and not have Matt Graves close the topic.
Definitely. We want members to see the Group Description. (and not have Matt Graves close the suggestion) Why?
a) So we can all see it like it is being seen by non-members (an make/keep it good)
b) It takes days for a new organizer of a new meetup to figure out where the heck it went.
c) It is a good place to also put a few general announcements or changes to the group.
d) where else can we put general info for the members?

Calendar of RSVP'd events on my Account
I would like to be able to look on my account and pull up a calendar that shows all the events I have RSVPd to for the month selected.
I do not like to subscribe to the Meetup Calendar app because it does not allow me to edit the events on my own calendar so I tend to download each meetup event that I RSVP to (ics in my case). But sometimes something goes wrong and the event does not get into my calendar. I would love to be able to go the Meetup.com and be able to see a…

It's something you definitely should add. Like other sites such as TripAdvisor, the rating has no credibility if it's anonymous. If someone
I think it's important as an organiser to identify who has left star ratings for an event..? It's something you definitely should add. Like other sites such as TripAdvisor, the rating has no credibility if it's anonymous. If someone maliciously gives you one star, you don't know who they are to remove them!
Kind regards,
Mark.

Add an area to view and add new Suggested Meetups to the app.
Add an area to view and add new Suggested Meetups to the app.
There is not a way to view any Suggested meetups using the app, having this would be wonderful, as I'm sure alot of people only using the meetup app, and they are missing lots of potential meetups because they can't view the ones that are suggested by others and haven't become a 'full blown' meetup yet.3 votes -
DO NOT change adresses on my meetups without my express permission
I have received an E_Mail which says the adress of a venue I am using for an event has been changed - because some other event organiser has changed the adress on their event.
I now have the wrong address for my event
Meetup claims this is a shared event venue - it is clearly not - the.new venue is for a Bon Jovi concert at the O2 in London absolutely nothing to do with my event.

Allow organizers to choose which tab the homepage defaults to
There are 3 tabs at the top of every homepage: the first is for "Upcoming" events, the second is for "Past" events, and the third is for the group "calendar". Right now Meetup automatically shows the "Upcoming" tab as the default whenever people visit the site. But I have a lot of events that I don't necessarily want to make an official meetup for, but I would still like to promote to my group and that I list as "notes" on the calendar, and that is the only place they show up. I constantly get people telling me "hey did…

Allow Organisers to use more topics when describing their Meetup group
Currently Organisers are limited to describing their Meetup groups using just 15 topics. Please could you consider raising this to 25-30 topics? In busy metropolitan areas, it is easy to reach out to large numbers of new members with only a few topics listed, however in regional areas such as where I live, extra topics can make all the difference in reaching and bringing in new members. Please consider.

make it possible to update email settings for all meetups at once.
I recently wanted to turn off email notifications for my meetups and learned that I have to customize every one of them individually. That's quite a pain in the toukas!

I want a place where I can see in ONE list all the Meetups I am signed up for.
The Android app has this feature to see everything you've RSVP'd Yes for under "Meetups I'm attending" but the main site does not. Maybe I cannot find it on the main site but I've searched pretty thoroughly.

Add New Banner Image Options and Fixes
Suggestions for how Banner Images would work better, and look better:
+ Stop taking my PNG images and turning them into JPEGs. JPEGs make logos look terrible, and the PNGs are small enough. JPEGs are not suitable or suggested for non-photographic images.
What's funny is that my PNG is smaller than the ugly JPEG that you're producing. But on the other hand, you're allowing images like the banner here that's over 100k!
Example: my PNG image:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9411926/blackwhite_horizontal2_white_16.png
Example: as converted by MeetUp:
http://www.meetup.com/MakeIt-NYC/
(note that the meetup example involved me uploading a 4x resolution PNG, which looks much better…

Increase max limit of groups for tech prez topics/groups.
Today you can only subscribe to 250 groups, and add only 15 to 20 groups in a row. That's great for real groups of interest and not great for PR groups, such as tech presentations. For the latter, meetup has a use and it would be great to be able to subscribe to lots of groups. Ideas (separately or all of them):
* Add a check "Is your group a "pro" group, for promotion or a watch on trends". If it's ticked, then adding the group won't increment the limitation counter.
* Allow the user to request to increase its…

Setup additional payment options if they are an event organiser!
Have co-organisers who is able to collect money into their paypal account. When the organiser refuses to share the paypal account, the organising becomes a pain in the back side.
How do I ensure people pay when they RSVP? I don't want to put my personal paypal address in public!!! It is linked to all other aspects of my life. Now I have to e-mail them individually and manage this individually!
If a solution already exist, please contact Amy Lo of Jaunters!!!

When is Meeup going go drop the "Not Attending" button
This silly "Not attending" button actually costs events!!! For some reason people like to hit this button when they never wanted to attend the event in the first place. Then other people view the event page thinking that they might attend but see all those who aren't attending and then feel the event is not happening or not worth going to. It is such a stupid feature. I don't mind if there is a button that only comes available when they have previously said they they were coming but for whatever reason can no longer make it. That is a…

Enable organizer to totally disable the RSVP category if desired
I just took over as Organizer for the New Orleans Drawing Group Meetup.
Most of the attendees of our local drawing group are usually by word of mouth, but we do get, for the present, just a few attendees who find out about the group from the Meetup page and only a very few RSVP - so most of the time, it appears on our meetup page as if the number of attendees are so meager. We rarely fill the room, so we do not even need anyone to RSVP. They can still contact me or post or ask any…2 votes -

Allow my Company to sponsor Meetup Groups all over the world
My company makes that teach Chinese. We would like to sponsor the top 50 Chinese language groups around the world, but your perks program only allows me to sponsor groups within 100 miles of a specific location. I sent a request to Meetup to help me sponsor these top 50 Chinese language groups.... the reply I got was "I'm afraid that we don't do that, but it's a great suggestion!" Hmm, if one of my customers offered me a great suggestion, I would be an advocate for this idea and get my company to implement it. We'll I am manually…

YES, NO, WAITLISTED & INTERESTED event status needed.
Hi Meetup Support,
As an organizer, i am always juggling between members who are genuinely coming & only interested in a meetup. The WaitList status is also very useful...
The interested status is very important! From the group of interested members we find members who can confirm. We also find out who are the more active members too.
I have so many members who tell me they are interested but didn't rsvp since they cannot commit an event.
So let the organizer allow an event to have Interested members just like the ability to allow WaitList members in an event.

Event "Host's" should be at the top of the attending list, even if an "Organiser" is attending.
Scenario... (I'm a group Organiser)
One of my "Members" has posted an event, and I've also RSVP'd to attend. In the attendance list, I'm listed at the top, so people THINK I'm the one who's hosting it. The actual person who posted the Event should be designated as the Event Host automatically.
Currently I need to log in, and add them as an Event Host manually. However I still appear at the top of the list. This is unfair to both the real Event Host, and the Group Organiser.
Can you please fix this.
