Stop removing past events from calendars e.g. google
Before, when Meetup group events were posted to a Google calender they remained visible after the event had occurred. This is useful for reference and historical purposes.
This option/feature has recently been 'removed' as now all past events are removed from the calendar, along with history of those events and Notes etc.
Currently the only way around this is to duplicate the events into a private calendar, which makes the calendar display quite messy1 vote -

Allow organisers to see a list of competing events that their members have signed up for. This will help to avoid future event clashes.
As an organiser, I would like to see what other events my membership has signed up for in a particular month. That will enable me to do better event planning when choosing a date to host an event.
This could simply be a date range picker and on submission I would see a list of events (by date) with the number of RSVP's for each event that my members have signed up for. It would also be nice (but not essential) to then click on that number and see the my membership member names and mugshots for each competing event.

Allow Organizers of private groups to manually choose certain events to make public.
We really like the limited visibility option in the Group Privacy settings, however there are events that we'd like to make available to the public in order to build awareness. It would be awesome if Organizers had the option to pick and choose which events to make public, while still protecting the privacy of the group in other areas.

Delete announcement phrase "You're invited" in exchange for "A new meetup is scheduled ". Comments posted in NO rsvp is annoying/negative.

Community Service Information
I work for the American Red Cross. We are looking to educate our community of the importance of donating blood. There are many programs we offer that I would like to outline for all of your members. An email blast to so many people who are already commited to the Meetup would be very effective. Thanks

Stop sending us on wild goose chases for information!
When we post here, and see a link to what we hope is a DIRECT connection to the topic, it should be EXACTLY that instead of a link that takes us back to the home of help and goose chases!!! Make it so!!!

If you’re referring to the ‘Pages’ section of your Meetup Group, you can edit the name of the Pages except for the About Page. The About Page cannot be renamed. Hope this helps!

I suggest that the editing function for the about us page be the same as the editing feature for pages
Specifically you can change the font size on the "About US" page but not on a page under pages and you have a great feature for creating and displaying a link to a website address on the "Pages" section of the website but that same link capacity is not available in the "About us" section. At least that is how it appears to me.

When at main group page that shows upcoming events, if an event is full its just says full, it does not state that a wait list is forming
you only know a wait list available if you click on a specific event that already states full!

No- Shows
I would like to see the number of 'no shows' on member's profiles again. And make those no shows available to be seen by all event organizers. That would give the organizer a heads up if that member is likely to be a no show. Then the organizer has an option to let someone on a waiting list attend because of the likelihood of the first member being a no show.

Easier access instructions: I am a first time user, even though I am enjoying this process, there is a learning curve,..I have noticed.
Easier access instructions, I am a first time member, and even though I am enjoying this new discovery immensely, I am having a difficult time, finding every thing,.... such as where I have posted all of my earlier stuff, like organizational mission statement, etc,...! Please make this easier,..! Thank you.

Give asst organizers and event hosts on/off control over comments in the event.
Give asst organizers and event hosts on/off control over comments in the event.
I have members who are picking up one another through the comments of my movie events. They need to speak directly that person instead of letting us all see their conversation.
I propose asst organizers and event hosts to have on/off control to turn off comments. Turn it on comments days before the actual event starts so there won't be an accumulation of UNRELATED event talk. Let them pick up one other directly from their own profiles. Leave the general public out of it.

Need more front page customization html sections
- Need to have a customizable header section.
- Right now the header section that is show before someone joins the group disappears after the user has joined. But for our group I included links, etc in that section that I would like to continue to be displayed. So either need option to continue to show that section -- or -- have a "after joined" section that can be displayed in the same spot.
- Need to NOT strip out html in that and other sections -- couldn't even use "table" tags, those need to be allowed.- Need the…

Turn off the "liked your comment" email notifications
I don't remember receiving these before - maybe "Like" is a new feature? - but today I got a least three such email messages, none of which I cared about. Turns out I can't even turn them off, at least not from what I'm seeing in my account options. Pretty ridiculous of MeetUp to assume that *everyone* is interested in every single "Like."

Change the email notification from "Stay in Touch" Back to "How was" your meet up.
The email that is sent to members who attended a meetup used to be an email where you could rate and give your comments on how the meetup went. That was changed the last few weeks to an email to where you can select all who showed up or select certain individuals to tell them it was good to see you. Since this change our meetup ratings/responses have diminished greatly. I believe it would be best to go back to the old email to rate the meetup or to give comments than to allow members to send the "it was…

Ability to write a comment in the 'good to see you' box after meetups
I'm in a mommy group. We often get distracted during the meetups (by the kids) and conversations stop abruptly. I would like to be able to finish a thought, give my phone number, etc in the 'good to see you' box...instead of simply sending an email saying 'good to see you'- maybe add a small box I could write a quick note!
