people are getting scammed into purchasing online seminars. Not cool.

With respect to "meetups in the making" (the old "IDEAS"), I'm bothered by the statement "I'm going" and "Can't go" when really, this needs to be a place to assess interest in suggested events. When a meetup is in the planning phase, it's not reasonable to ask people to commit to going (especially when often no date or location is determined yet) but, as an Organizer, I do want to get a sense of general interest. Please change the language to reflect the assessment nature of "Meetups in the Making".

Continuing with your arbitrary changes, one of those left it out, were the ability to post message (reserved for organizers) in the homepage. This was particularly useful to quick communicate with members and welcome the new ones.

I used to post to my group all the time and got LOTS of feed back.Today I posted a discussion instead,it's so far down on the page , no one knows it's there.So I am going to re post on FB

Including the first few lines of content in the email notifications of new ideas and comments will save having to go to the site each time to see what's up. Most forum notificstions include this feature.

These emails follow up on ideas and suggestions - but have come when the idea was obsolete (e.g. a suggestion for a week ago) - it adds to the noise.

The "how to find us" option used to be private so that only people who were members/had RSVP'd for that event could see the contact info. This was extremely helpful. NOW, however, I'm getting texts about events from people who aren't even group members and anyone at all could just crash the event. Please restore it to the way it was. How was it hurting anything?

Please let us feature and highlight Members, not simply Sponsors nor Corporate Entities. How can we do this better? Thank you!! Any help is sincerely appreciated!

I travel for a living and would love to post a meetup for the city I will be in without creating an entire site for that city. I would also like it to be easier to find and attend meetups on the fly in other cities as I travel.

The introduction box character limit is way to small. and other coment areas limits are way too big.

put back "ideas" instead of the "in the making". And take them off the calendar view. People are RSVPing to events that aren't official yet. Our group has sometimes 10+ events a month and the ideas section was great. This new method is confusing and newer or less involved members don't know if things are official or not.

The "Cancel" button is placed right under "Count Me In", "Edit" button. Another assistant organizer instead of changing her RSVP, canceled my meetup. It would have caused a disaster if she also clicked on "remove from the calendar" option and emailed everyone on the RSVP list that the event was canceled. PLEASE REMOVE THE "CANCEL" BUTTON ASAP!!!

It's MAJOR hassle to update EACH group with your photo of choice. Why isn't there a feature where you can choose ONE picture to automatically be shown for all groups? Or something along those lines?

Sometimes it is good to be able to alert your members that you are planning an event for a certain date even if you don't have the details on location and price worked out yet. This is especially good for special holidays when people's schedules fill up pretty quickly. This is often the case when at the same time the organizer may have to take a little extra time to carefully plan and book the right location.

I was told to post here - once I created a repeat event, I am posted as going...there is no button for sending a reminder to FB after. So I tried to log that I am not going, then entered I am going, and the FB share link STILL wouldn't work!!!!!
