Option to Wide Diplay
Now Meetup used the middle 1/3 of my display. I paid big bucks to but a large display and I want to use it. Via members profiles provide options on what to display.

Resource Page
Create a resource page where organizers can share links and relevant info discussed during meetups. Perhaps a general one for the group and maybe specific ones for each meetup. It would really help us share info on the platform instead of using google docs.

On home page the meetup list rsvp button is only for yes. Why not quick no?

automatically send a message to someone who RSVP's
It would be nice, for those of us who hold meetups at a private residence, to have the ability to send directions in a message to someone who RSVP's yes.

allow an 'add to facebook' button for those who have scheduled the meetup.
I used to be able to do this -and it was really helpful!

Be able to choose cities for events shown in weekly calendar email
Be able to choose cities (not just distance from home zip code) for events that are listed in the weekly calendar sent out by email. There are many events listed that may be close distance wise but are a pain to get to due to traffic and transportation in this area. I would rather not have to sort through all these events to find ones that are close by.

Give ME control over the RSVP list.
In the past, when I had 25 people on the yes list. I could change the max to 15 so when a yes dropped out, I COULD decide who got in. Now if I change the yes list to 15, meetup suddenly drops 10 people OFF. Please give us back control.

Allow members to RSVP "no" to events that are full.
When events fill up quickly, I still want to be able to RSVP "no" so I can keep track of the fact that I am not attending. This would also prevent me from getting email reminders that I still need to RSVP.

I would like for you to add the Central Coast of New South Wales (Postcode 2250) into your listing.
It would be great for people outside of Sydney, on the Central Coast to be able to meet up with other people in our local area. It is too far for a lot of people to travel to Sydney to access groups.

More control over member scheduled events being promoted
I love the idea that my members can take a more active role in planning events. However, I see a big problem in that the default settings could make an event 'official' once three people sign up, even though there isn't enough information for this event to happen. I know I can turn off the automatic promote to a scheduled event after 3 signups, but I really like that feature. I just would like it if that made sure that the event was ready to be promoted.
For starters, I don't think it should promote an event unless a location…

stop emailing everyone for location suggestions on meetups that don't have a location selected
Recently, I saw an email go out to everyone asking for their help with helping me select a new location for an event. I was planning on changing locations and had removed the old one. I was not prepared to add the new location on the same day. There is no need for members to get spammed with unnecessary email, especially when the location was going to be added the next day.

Create a way members can track activity. Impossible when we members of multiple groups!
Impossible to keep track of where we posted a comment, opened a discussion, messaged a member. We need a threaded timeline/log of our activity or something along those lines. An internal inbox/mailbox would be nice too.
