Not the e-mail - a greeting on their profile. It would be nice to be able to have an interface for the organizers to post a "welcome greeting." It would look the same to the user but organizers would be able to sort by "welcome greeting" to see who still needs one.

My meetup group used to use the "Ideas" section to upvote ideas for the next meetup. Now members have to commit to future meetups in order to "vote" for them, which they will not do. Also, for some reason the votes that were attached to ideas (that are now future meetups) did not migrate with the update, so I have lost all member input about the topics in which they are interested.

Some people don't want to join right away and would maybe like to see what kind of events they are doing.

post comments on the activity area. I have to leave a message on the message board to do so now! As an organizer, this is very awkward. Used to be able to leave posts.

We like to run our regular meetups every TWO WEEKS, but the meetup repeat scheduler only allows you to choose WEEKLY or MONTHLY. Please add this functionality asap! Thanks!!!!

Although this is an online group, some of our events are held at member's homes, and not all of our members are comfortable with publishing their address online, regardless of how secure we tell them it is. Since we all know each other and have offline rosters, it would be great to have a location that just says "Mary's House" without having to add an actual address. The new format doesn't allow this.

The "New Meetup" makes me sick because you took a perfectly adequate, functional site and ruined it. Nothing is "better", just different. You need to hire someone to do a professional assessment of your work.

I can´t create a venue at a private residence without fessing up the an address that validates. To maintain users privacy, I only want to give potential attendees the general area of town, not the exact location. I send the exact location only to those who RSVP yes and even then, not anyone who we´ve never met before.

People shouldn't have to click 3 or 4 times to RSVP. It's annoying and unnecessary.

We're still having a problem opening events that are posted. It might be a browser problem or it might have something to do with the links to photos and a map that have been added. For hiking meetups, we cann't use that Google map you have included. This is one that people are having problems with:

This is really hurting our group. I certainly hope it gets fixed.

On the home page under viewing upcoming events, when I click the count me in button, show me an in-window/on-site pop-up (not a new-window pop up) instead of taking me to the page. Sometimes I already know the details of the event and don't need to go to the page. Or even provide the details within the on-site?

Please add a blog tab so we can post articles, links and pictures in one place! :)

It would be great to be able to scroll through your list of groups or somehow organize the "My Groups" drop down so you can put the groups you're most active in on top, without having to go through 3 or 4 steps just to get to that group's main page.

I would love to have a badge or widget that I could embed in my web site and email signatures to help promote my upcoming meetups.
