Make these changes to the new format
I am really not digging the new format. The only semi-good things about it are the tabs for Upcoming, Past, and Calendar, which is a bit cleaner than before. But everything else is either clunky or an eyesore or both. Here is what needs to be changed:
1. Yes/No is a whole lot more clear than "I'm going" and "I'm not going." The eyes have to search for that "not" in there.
2. The big ugly garish blocks of text for date, location and how many are attending simply need to go. Total eyesores.

Remove "Let's Meetup and..." if Organizers turn off Ideas/Suggestions
After you turn off the suggestion box, this phrase makes no sense at the top of the page. The topics of our events can't always be the second half of that sentence, so what is it still doing there?

Organizers should be able to delete all "former members" comments.
There are times members have opted out of groups. Any comment the "former member" made appears in content of the meetup as "former member" rather than their name. It appears as if there has been a tiff or nasty parting of ways, which is not always the case. Organizers should be able to delete any/all comments made my "former member".

Add major holidays to calendar
I am a Meetup group organizer and would love it if we were able to import major holidays to the calendar instead of having to manually enter them.

Fix a bug: Redundant Emails = Spam
When organizers send email to those who haven't responded to a meetup, it relays to email to all with note that it was sent to some. (If we wanted to send it to all, we'd just do that in the first place.) This confused members who had already confirmed for a meetup but got email suggesting they sign up. Not to mention is creates excess email (aka spam) for members. Thanks.

Fix the dates settings. too many events not getting date on them!
I've inputted meetups and put the correct dates in a number of times only to find out it goes out to my meetup ppl without the date! Annoying

Remove the Google Map.
Remove the Google Map. This is a Huge distraction and shouldn’t be such a large focus of the screen. Its nice to have the map LINK but not the map covering the page.
It was nice to have a picture or Logo can we at least have the option.1 vote -
Allow orgs to see event drafts as a published one and on calendar.
It would be easier, when an organizer saves an event draft, if all organizers can see it like a finished published event and on the calendar. That way we can see the dates taken up on the calendar and we can make sure the event pages looks exactly as we intend it to with pictures and colored fonts and all.

Create email autoresponder systems for the people who sign up and also for RSVPs: creates community
Autoresponder emails; timed responses over e.g 1 day later, 1 week later, 14 days later etc. to alert people to fill in their information, submit a photo, RSVP for the events, suggest something, etc.
Should be a set for when they JOIN and another set for when they RSVP for an event.

Adjust the list of leaders on the frong meetup page
Currently the co-organizer is listed under the assistant organizers. It's not alphabetical either, i checked.

A meeting a quarter at a minimum
An organizer/leader should have the commo curtesy (or be nudged by Meetup) to have one meetup per quarter at a minimum. Some haven't met for almost a year and yet people join and offer suggestions on topics and where to meet all to deaf ear.

Member's pictures
Your website's "About Us" shows YOUR pictures undistorted...you left us out. What has happened to your overall website??

be able to delete multiple members at one time.
i.e. Be able to delete all members that haven't logged-in in more than three months.

Add back the ability to say why you are NOT coming to a meet-up.
Although you still allow us to comment on attending an event, you took away the option for us to comment when we are NOT attending. Could you please, please give us back that bit of functionality? The new format seems to have lost a lot of the little bells and whistles that made the previous design so intuitive, functional, and easy for our members to use ... and we miss being able to do the little things we used to do. It's the little things that really add up to a big disappointment in this new format :(
