I got an email from a perspective member for my club from info@meetup.com. I replied directly to the email. I got an autoreply that says there were instructions to reply to the sender in the original email. There are no directions. I think you should create a system where we can anonymously communicate from our own emails!

I like to add meeting notices directly from the calendar. But this is tedious when you get near the end of the month. I had to add multiple events for February on January 30th. For every event I had to hit the server for a page update.

If you want to be a leader, you need to look into the future and carbon neutrality is a big part of it. Many people now seek this feature from their providers, those who show leadership here, get more followers.

Please bring back the module feature; the new layout is really bad. My meetup group is more than just "meetups" - there have been discussions that are now buried underneath the unattractive "Let's Meetup and..." section. I think you've really blown it with the new layout, and it isn't just because it is new. The previous version was fantastic as everything was there and easy to see and navigate to. Or at least give us an option as to which layout format we prefer. Thanks.

I just posted photos from two activities that were a week apart, and both are listed as happening the same day. It looks like there is supposed to be a difference, but it does not function properly, so in the album list it looks as if the meetups were on the same day.

At the moment a member export list (such as http://www.meetup.com/OpenCoffeeDenHaag/members/?op=csv does not contain Twitter and Linkedin handles - especially the Twitter handles should be handy to have so that we could create a Twitter list to follow.

Have you considered allowing us to organize our pages the way we want, using the format adopted by Yahoo in their my.yahoo.com web page? This allows a modular approach to placing items such as greetings, meetings, files, where you want them and in the order you desire. This approach could make everyone happy. :-)

I suggest that the original poster be allowed to edit his/her posting until either 1) she or he logs out of the session or 2) someone replies to the posting.

I wish we could print the name tags we select, rather than all. We reuse tags, so just need to print the new attendees.

We have a lot of hosts, and by not letting them edit things like the RSVP cap I have to log in sometimes many times a day and fix things for them immediately before too many people RSVP. Meetup should not be a fulltime job.

Make it so that an option is available to make a file editable by all members. Would like to be able to create a database (excel) that would include names, referrals of area businesses, etc. Would like to make it so that any member can add/contribute to the db if they wanted.

This way members would feel more comfortable to write honest reviews without the risk of being ostracized by the group. Also organizers can review the constructive criticism and create ways to make future meetups more enjoyable.
Until then, all reviews will continue to mainly be 4 and 3 stars, which is NOT always accurate.

I belong to a bunch of different groups. Everytime you add a new communication feature, if I don't want it, I have to go into communication settings for 'each' of my groups and make that change. What a pain! (I'm a software QA engineer). Please add a page that allows us to change a setting for all of our groups at once (global). Naturally, if we go into an individual group and change a setting there, that should override the global setting. Thanks!

It's ugly. It dose not work. And I hate looking at it!

Our group is active. Scrolling through a long list of meetups-with-comments is a pain.

It's great that meetup has stopped displaying a group rating. But Meetup needs to go further.
1- Have one event rating: fantastic or really liked. That's it. Keep track the number of people rating an event like this.
2- Take away the anonymity!
No jerk should be able to publicly criticize an organizer. And the anonymity makes things worse. Keep things positive.

The new format allows 5 to 6 events to a page. If I'm searching for a past event to copy or looking at future events, it would be good to have a short view that gave me a list with just the title and basic details on a single line.
