Put back the ability to see and read the starred ratings!
We have to be able to see and read the ratings for our Meetups. We need to know how many stars members are giving and why - and if any one person is consistently giving one or two stars so that we can talk to them or if necessary ban them, as they may just have it in for the group and are trying to drag down the ratings. We PAY for these sites and spend a great deal of time on these groups - we have every right to see the rating!

Re-enable comments in the "NO THANKS" RSVP. I'd like to let other members know why I'm not attending

Remove "You asked to be notified about:" in e-mails
Sometimes I want to forward potential groups of interest to friends or colleagues, but don't think it's everyone's business which groups/topics I have on my list. Can't they remove that list from the bottom of e-mail alerts?

Have a premade webform where members can submit requests for meetups to organizers
If we could have a premade web form for the general members to fill out, it would help a lot (no more harassing them for missing info). Our group is nearing 500 members, so it would help organize a lot.

Add RSVP goal tracking to Google Analytics
I'd love to track if users RSVPed to the event in Google Analytics using their Goal tracking.
Please add that to the code and provide tutorial on how to set it up.
My understanding that this should include just having _trackPageView for particular fake page URL (RSVP is AJAX call) and then configuring that URL in goals.

Stop meetups in the making from appearing on the calendar. It is too confusing!
Or better yet bring back the ideas tab which worked great. Meetups in the making has caused nothing but confusion and resentment.

Make meetup more socially contagious
The ability to share meetups to non-meetup subscribers is severely lacking. I was trying to tell my girlfriend about a meetup I was interested in and that I wanted to invite her to but she's not a member of meetup. Upon visiting the meetup group's page we could not find anywhere that I could send her a link or info on this particular group. There needs to be a big INVITE button on each meetup.
When looking for a feedback link all I found was a small "discuss" link in the footer which didn't even lead to this uservoice forum.…

Ability to show Dates in British Format
The current date format with month first is confusing in Britain. Please allow us to choose the format.

Add an obvious link in left sidebar for meetups in the making...near the "Upcoming meetups" link
I'd like to be able to find meetups in the making, but never can seem to. Please add a link in the left navigation:
Members
Group reviews
Upcoming Meetups
Past Meetups
Our calendarThanks. Also, I'm good with the new format except for this one issue.

i have this problem...over and over
i want to sign up for a meetup, but i find no info on addresses, or their geographical reach. i sign up, then after questions, emails, i find that i cannot reach them by public transportation, only current option. kind of big discouragement. could you consider including some kind of info, like geographic limitations in the invite? it sure would help a lot, and i bet there are lots of people with the same need out there...

Let CO-ORGANISER mark a member as 'paid' under 'Who's Coming' on the right hand side
Let co-organisers mark a member as 'paid' in the same way an organiser does it.
There is a manual way but with many events and many members it is highly time consuming. As the end result is the same (the member is marked as 'paid') please let us do it the easy way:

allow me to clone a new group from an existing one
I am using Meetup for our local user groups. I would like to be able to copy the appearance and other basic settings from an existing group when creating a new one.

Allow custom content on front page
My client for instance wants a map widget on their front page showing the location and head count of events - I could do this as a widget but it wouldn't display on the front page would it?

Stop limiting the amount of characters I can use when I post a meetup description!!!
Now I have to waste precious time re-editing over and over again just to get things to "fit" into your tiny character limits!!
11 votesWhile we don’t have plans to increase the character count, we will be making some changes to make it easier to tell when you’re going over the limit.
