Multiple Calendars Per Group
Many complain that their group calendars are cluttered and difficult to navigate. If organizers had the ability to create multiple calendars for their group's, we could categorize our calendars and make Meetups much easier for our members to find and RSVP to. A simple example would be a national group that would want calendars for each region/state they Meetup at.

Why reinvent the round wheel into a square one on our Meetup websites?
These are just a few changes I have found to compile from others like me!
These are things that should be discussed before the change:
1) Google Maps image on main page
2) "Helped Plan" instead of Organized by
3) No way to insert an image without knowing the HTML code
4) The new place for "We should do this because"
5) Paid Color and size is to small and light
6) Videos on the main page are gone
7) Pictures on the main page are gone
8) What's new did not have all the changes, just the main screen…5 votes -
Create one e-mail message for multiple pictures and tags
After an event when we upload and tag our pictures, all members get one e-mail per upload and one e-mail per tag. This is excessive and should be compressed into a single e-mail for all of the above. In trying to create a community, we're annoying it's members.
Specifically, I'm thinking that Meetup.com should delay sending one of these e-mails for five minutes (or some other length of time). During this time, if other photos are uploaded or a user is tagged, the delay for their e-mail resets.

MENU BAR (where MEMBERS,PHOTOS,SPONSORS are) should have EVENTS and CALENDAR too. Home page should
have lastest activity like the original meetup first, not buried below the list of upcoming events.

Add a "welcome" button (similar to the "Like" button on Facebook) for when a new person joins.
Under "Latest Activity" I often see that new people have joined our group, and I would like to make them feel welcomed without writing them a personal note. If there were a "Welcome" button beside the notice of their joining, existing members could click it, much like the "Like" button on Facebook.

Restrict the "Talk about this Meetup" to those who "Are Going"
Some people just want to talk about a Meetup, rather than going to one. This can detract from the planning and discussion from those who vote with their feet, i.e. the people that care enough to go.

Make past meetups public in private groups
I would like the ability to allow the public to see past meetups of my group to show what activities we have had. Presently the privacy setting does not allow me, as the organizer, to configure what can and cannot be set to public. I would like more control over what is, and is not, viewed by the public.

Remove "I'm Going" to "In the Making" events (especially when no date is set)
We have an org. that sort of votes on what our meetings is about by creating events as "in the making". They don't have dates set yet, however "Count Me In"/"I'm Going" feel like a strong statement of commitment when we aren't committed because there is no date. I hope that makes sense. I just don't want to commit to going to something that isn't official and doesn't even have a date.

Forget about THE "NEW & IMPROVED" Meetup Site. Everybody I speak to says it SUCKS!
Meetup was fine before. Why did you feel the need to "IMPROVE" it?

Allow a "No" RSVP to an event that has a waiting list
Please bring back the option to RSVP "No" to an event that is filled and has a waiting list. It is very annoying that the event continues to show it needs an RSVP on my calendar since I had no way of marking it as a "No." I end up wasting time rechecking that event numerous times over the month wondering if it is a new meetup and/or why I have not responded to the event.

A search engine that allows you to find an event going on instead of a group. Ex Saint Patricks Day.

Only Yes RSVP's on Google Calendar Sync
I am overloaded on my calendar with events that I'm not going to because they conflict with or events or work. I would like to have an option to turn off all the events I RSVP no. I don't mind the ones I don't RSVP because usually I'm deciding if I can afford it. Do you think you can help my overloaded calendar?

Finding a Meetup partner
How about a way to solicit a "partner" for establishing a new meet up group. Vs having to go it alone in setting up

Switch back to the old format
This new format is AWEFUL! Its nearly impossible to participate in the message boards within the groups. Also, the new format does not populate converations going on within a meetup, so unless you are RSVP'ed to an event you have no idea that someone has commented on it.

How about being able to export calendar events only for those Meetups I haven't replied "no" to?
I want to see all my options of things to do on my calendar, but for the things I alrdeady know I'm not going/not interested in, I don't need those exported.

profile pictures don't match meetup format
the dimensions of the profile picture is rectangular. When posting comments on a meetup, the format is square. This causes compression and distortion of the photo. Please make these consistent with each other.
