I have received quite a few emails from somebody trying to promote a business. She seems to be creating events in a bunch of different groups. I'd like to block her emails, but it seems that all meetup emails got blocked. Please allow these types of emails to be blocked.

Often our group needs to change plans at the last minute. There should be an option to add a txt msg emIl address to send notification to anyone who RSVP'd to a MeetUp if they added that information to their profile.

Please include city/zip in the "where" line of auto-reminder email.

Whoever came with current format of auto-reminder email lives in very small town with 10 streets total :(
The line "where" MUST include city or zip. Just street name is NOT enough, and annoying.

if a member doesn't look at the group for 3 months, automatically remove them from the group. Right now it is set for 6 months

I am the President of a large local community in Los Angeles with over 4K members. Without having to resign all the members, if there was a way to batch import our list to the system.

I have a consulting client that is a Fortune 50 manufacturer. They need a new tool for managing internal employee networking groups; Meetup functionality would be ideal but the access & membership needs to be restricted to employees only. Can you create a business version for such an application? Like real fast please...would be a great solution for my client's need.

I normally use firefox, so before I didn't realize how horribly my group - and even meetup homepage looks in IE8 - I would call it from marketing point of vie a TOTAL DISASTER. Please have your webmaster optimize for explorer!

Gain an idea of how many people would be interested in a particular group before starting the group.

Please change reminders so that organizers and/or attendees can choose to receive just one reminder. And also change it so that reminder go ONLY to those who are signed up! I have shut off all of my reminders not because there are soooooo many!!!

currently, in order to notify members for a new event other media is used such as Facebook since members are not notified unless a meet-up has become official

I'm in so many Groups now that I have to Do "A-Lot" of Scrolling through them all..

MY IDEA.

ADD a way to VIEW FAVORITE Groups in the My Groups Drop-Down on front page... Perhaps ADD a Tab called Favorites. OR maybe just push Favorites to the top on the (MY-groups list)..

For instance, in one of the meet groups we have for people w/STDS and its a mix bag and we dont really discirmate againts certain age group,but makes it difficult to look trough members profile,and some dont have images so then u have to kind of guess with this kind of feature it would be easier to talk/hang with a certain age group

I sometimes forget to click on the link to email the group to announce a new meetup. It would be nice to have that option at a later time.

There are times when the "Leadership Team" need to get together to discuss various items such as planning, organization, etc which they prefer to keep offline before making a public announcement. In other words, it is not something we want to discus publicly or have just anyone in the group come to the event or be included in the discussion. The MeetUp system is a great way to provide for this forum. It would be nice to be able to have a setting to organize a private meeting with any member at the discretion of the organizer and/or leadership team.

I know the name of a Group, but can't find anywhere to search for it. I have had this happen with other friends, too. And with most people not showing their other Meetup Groups, there isn't anyway to link to the sort for group.
