Meetup UserVoice is a space where you can show support for your favorite feature suggestions. We will monitor UserVoice, comment when it warrants it, and will let you know when we're actively working on something suggested.
A little on how we choose what to work on: UV is one additional source of input (others are internal product strategies, usage metrics, surveys, usability testing, and other sources), and we will make no guarantees that we will build a specific feature, regardless of number of votes.
Some tips: Search the forum first, to see if your idea has already been posted. You have up to 10 votes to share and can use up to 3 on a single idea. Prioritize what's most important, and place your vote where it counts most to you and your Meetup Group.

get rid of the "post to facebook" pop-up that appears after I RSVP "Yes" for an event
The dialogue box that says "Add to your facebook profile? Want to tell your friends on Facebook about this Meetup? It will be added to your Wall and to your friends' news feeds. " is annoying. I should have the option to disable it for my account.

Expand on the custom email lists so that people could reply 'within' the custom list

include an "attending remotely" option for people skyping/teleconferencing in
People regularly skype into the meetups that I host. It would be good to inlcude them on the RSVP list, while not taking up valuable physical spaces. Color Calendar Events
Allows a visual color differentiation between weekly, monthly and special events at a glance. ie. Weekly is gray, Monthly is Orange, Special Events Blue etc.

Only let members who have paid membership dues RSVP for an event
I would like a way to let people join a group for free to check out the events. However, I want to charge a yearly membership fee. Members cannot RSVP for an event until their membership fee is paid. I do want an option to waive this fee for co-organizers and assistant organizers.

additional RSVP-members name field
Add an additional field for what the RSVP counts are called. In our group, we have 68 members, but when members RSVP they may include guests which are members of their family or friends. allow us to see who from our group is currently online
It would be neat to see who from the groups we belong to are currently on line. Additionally, it would be great to be able to Instant Message them.

allow meetup account holder to set availability times
I get meetup invitations for meetups all the time. However, I can only attend weekend and Friday night meetups. Please make it so that I can set, in my central account profile, those times for which I am available so that I do not receive invititations for events that I cannot attend.

Don't have "Maybe"RSVP's take up RSVP space
I and other Meetup Organizers have to eliminate Maybe RSVP's because they take up the RSVP limit. I would suggest that either Maybe's don't take up space, or even better that they be moved to a waiting list status if the event fills up.

Allow organizers to decide when meeting reminders are sent
Currently automatic meeting notifications go out 1 week before the event. I have events the same day every week. The next weeks notification is causing confusion. Please allow me to decide when the automatic reminder goes out to my members.

Making some information/pics invisible to members who have not attended their first meetup
I have a private moms group. Instead of having to meet them before them being approved, I would like to be able to approve them but only give them access to the calendar until they attend their first event.

Print Sign In Sheet based on RSVP
It would be nice to have a feature that allowed us to print the RSVP list as a sign in sheet so all the members would have to do is check by there name. Then also have a room at the bottom to add new people or the guest they bring.
