Click Email from Meetup on mobile >> go to correct link in App
It's not hard really. You relieve an email from Meetup & you use your mobile phone to revive email.
You have the Meetup App installed because you like & use Meetup.
When you click on the various links in email currently, it opens a browser to the correct area of the website & a notification in the browser asks you if you want to go to the mobile app.
IF you click this, it opens the app just to the landing screen - you lose where you are, you cannot accomplish what you want without searching for it & if…

Photo albums: Sorting of photos and display order
Facebook and other sites have the option of moving thumbnails in a photo album around to sort pictures according to most convenient way. Meetup needs to have this ability as well. For events where people upload hundreds of photos, it's unwieldy and time consuming to have to scroll/browse through all the photos when looking for just one. It's also ridiculous that there's only one display order - that in which they were uploaded.

Is there a way to link other groups events in my/our group?
I have a group for people with depression but there are other similar groups and those offering relaxation/meditaton etc. It would be great if I could share those meetups with my group and vice versa.

Maintain those who responded no for 24 hours after the hike
As an organizer I set a limit on the number of people attending an activity. What happens in practice is that a number of people click yes but 24 hours before the event change their status into no.
As soon as the event ended, I have noticed that only those who attended the event are maintained and all with NO status are removed.
As an organizer I do not want those people, who frequently cancel last minute, to attend any more future hikes, however I do not have any tools/stats to monitor this given that those folks who click NO…

RSVP update missing details that previously showed up, prior to update...
Whenever someone changes their RSVP for an event, we used to be notified as to what their previous RSVP was (eg going from "attending" to "not attending") and if there was a waiting list for the event in question and the member was changing his/her RSVP from "going" to "not going," we'd be notified who was moved up from the waiting list to the "attending" list. With the latest update, all we're notified is that the member's status has been set to "going" / "not going" / "waiting list." I have a rule with my group asking that members only…

Add another option on the tool menu for a meetup to export the list of attendees in Excel
I would like another option on the tool menu to export the list of attendees so that I can create custom labels. The meetup labels print in order by first name and also cut off the name of the title. My labels would have the logo, ordered by last name, and the complete title.

I don't find it easy to connect with a Meetup group. What is the procedure? It doesn't work with me. Email or phone?
Is there a simple email to respond to when you want to attend a meeting? or a phone call to someone? This stuff doesn't always work.

Sort events inside a group using parameters applicable for those events - eg cycling (pace, distance, elevation, etc)
It would help our group members if they had a feature that allowed them to sort events inside a group using parameters applicable for those events - eg cycling (pace, distance, elevation, etc). I suspect other areas such as hiking would have similar needs. As popularity grows, it is becoming harder for people to sort through the various events to find the ones they want to join!

A full-screen calendar!
Finding meetup groups and events are easy, but when managing multiple RSVPs, the tiny one-third-of-the-screen calendar is so frustrating! This is the whole purpose of meetup.com, let's make it big enough to be useful! (And maybe not have to click "more" to view upcoming meetups)
3 votesWe are working on enhanced calendar options that will satisfy this need. Thank you for your suggestion!

Requesting a generic retangular shaped meetup button to wear to ALL my meet ups (one with no group name)
I am with several meet up groups and the only pin on buttons I can find are the round buttons that let you customize with your group name at zazzle. I would like to purchase a retangular shaped button that just has the meetup logo on it so I can wear it to all my meetups instead of purchasing many round meetup pins. And it would be cute to have a pin that is completely shaped and designed after the site's logo.

Allow members to locate all pictures they have posted to events
Please provide the ability for members to locate all photos they have posted to events, regardless of the meetup or event.
The current approach requires members to remember precisely which events they posted to.
This feels to me to be something that is personal, so having it as part of "Account" management seems to make sense.
The goal is to be able to locate and view any / all images regardless of event. I suppose that would also include events that were held by meetup groups that are no longer active (presuming all history is retained by your servers). This…

You have Thumbs up/down facilty on events comments...Add this facilty on discussion comments too, to 'reward' posts.
Currently people usually only get replies to discussion posts if others disagree, but no feedback where people agree. This can be demoralising and doesn't encourage people to post. A thumbs up /down would be a quick and easy way to show agreement, without having to post the boring 'yes I agree", and this gives 'reward' for good postings.

a place for suggestions for meetup groups
I do not want to organize or run a group but would be very interested in joining groups. I unfortunately can never find groups of interest in my area. I would like to suggest and show interests of people in the area just in case someone else would like to step up to form a group or maybe there are people who are on the fence about starting a group but don't know if there is enough interest in their community. It would help in many areas to have a place for suggestions and interests.

Organizing one's interests
Is there any way to sort or arrange interests, either alphabetically or by subject? I have many interests, some duplicates of each other, and it's tedious (and therefore not worth the effort) to look through all of them to see if I've listed one or not. Also, a full list of everybody's interests, also arranged systematically, would be very useful and interesting. --Steven Lytle

Organize all lists
Organize all lists on Meetup pages with more than, say, 9-10 items. I'm not going to read an unsorted list of hundreds of unrelated topics.

Meetup Organizers should be Required to Post a Photo of Themself
If someone wants to be a Meetup group organizer (or co-organizer) they should be required to post their photo. There is no good reason to be anonymous and at the same time ask people to join them for an in-person meetup. Organizers should be visible so members can recognize them at the event and also for safety reasons.
