Each Meetup group is unique onto itself. Over the years Meetup has offered many great features and some that have been a bit questionable. What they have never offered is a way for each group to choose the options that best fit their own needs.

It seems that the only time I can post my event to Facebook is when I make the original RSVP. I am trying to find ways to not have to re-enter all the info in FB if I can simply post reminders for the event to my fan page AND my wall when I want to. I generally like to send reminders a few days before weekly events, and several times before bigger events.

It is nice that you have a "map" photo next to the meetup description; however, I like to be able to upload my own picture choice that is relevant to the particular meetup scheduled. I don't need the map because I always include thorough directions and a link to a map for the meetup site. Please allow organizers to have the option of defaulting to your "map" or to be able to upload our own picture. The old way was preferable because it allowed organizers to have more freedom in designing the meetup postings.

We do not want our messages listed as meetings on our website. Our messages to each other should NOT be on the first page.

At "select a place", please give option to organizer for not publish private venue-meetup venue is private, will be send out to the resved people before the meeting. or allow organizer fill out the private meet up address and auto send out before the meetup date.

So that we don't have to go through every person that has been inactive, please add a way to terminate members by a simple checking multiple people who are inactive.

To be able to search for meetups by the day of the week.

As of right now we can only choose a photo from an existing album. I would like to upload a new image when creating a new meetup.

The discussion thread is hidden and with the new activity posting at the bottom of the page, members will never see the discussion s that are being posted!

Coming to Meetup is like dating a person with multiple personality disorder... you never know what's going to be there... used to be a cool place to organize stuff... now all I see are the ever changing faces of the site that used to look like old friends, but now are always quite strange to me... Enough with the upgrades... nothing you are doing is helping the communities that are here...

Example: Our group has photographers, models and Makeup artists. We would like the ability of creating categories of RSVP limits so we can set how many of each category can RSVP. As it stands now, we have to create multiple events for 1 day to make this work.

I had a bad experience where a group 'auto RSVP'd' 140 members as 'YES' to a paid $40 meetup (falsely making it look like everyone was willing to kick in $40 for that event). I posted a comment that I didn't appreciate being RSVP'd as YES without confering with me first, and they kicked me out of the group with no discussion. Too much control for Organizers...please remove auto-RSVP ability (RSVP should be member's choice, not Organizer).

Bring back Photo and Video Modules

Your maps do not show the location. In fact, not only are they pointing to wrong locations, often the actual location isn't even on the map being displayed!

When we try to update a person's guests to an event, we can't save the change - save option is missing.
