Home page
Make the home page back to the original way it was. Where people can make comments to each other, say Hi, etc.

Bring back the "ratings" stars on my groups home page. We rate high, visitors say it influences them

Ability to copy a Meetup from one of the Meetup groups we organize, and post it on another.
If we organize more than one Meetup group, we should be able to copy a Meetup from one of our groups, and put it also on another.

PLEASE get rid of that "suggest location" feature!
So, allowing a member to suggest a location is good in theory, but we have lots of reasons why we don't put them on our calendar. (Some of our meetings are at private member homes and we'd rather email everybody that RSVPs yes)
I also noticed that the notes (not events) are showing up with generated emails that say "Suggest a location" even though there's no option to put a location on a note in the first place.
Why, Meetup, must you keep messing things up? I wonder how long it will take for my members to get really tired…

Bring back the color icon for "Additional Details" section.
You used to be able to highlight text in the Additional Detailx box to assign different colors. That icon is now gone. The only way to change it now is to the use HTML editor.........bad for non-programmer types.

Create an "I'm Interested" option
On events people can either say yes or no they can or can't make it. Give us an option where member can say "I'm Interested" and still get the event updates, comments and reminders. so they know it is still coming.

Please bring back "Discussions" and recent "Past Events" to the right sidebar
Group Discussions are now relegated to being underneath the upcoming events and are not visible unless you scroll down half a page or so. And yes, I know there is a drop-down menu at the top which includes Discussions, but no one is going to take the time to bother. Also, having a list of recent past meetups included on the home page is important for two reasons: a) members are far more likely to check out how a recent event went and b) more people would take the time to add their comments on a recent event as they…

Connecticut is NOT NY
Many times I look at MeetUp groups and I find that within my search I get Connecticut groups. I live on Long Island and there are many times that maps are confused and think that CT is closer than it really is. Please fix your website so that when I look for groups in the Smithtown area I dont receive responses for Connecticut. Thank You.

Pending members are not Former members!!
When I write a message to a pending member to ask them to please change their profile pic etc. The message that gets generated under Latest activity reads: Shani posted a greeting for A former member. !?
They are not former members (making it seems like they've left the group or I removed them, they are PENDING members) please correct.0 votes -

Include a profile link of the person you write to in the cc email back to sender.
It's good that the senders profile link is in the email but no where on my own profile does it let me see the email I sent out, or see the person I sent one to.

Allow easier event/group sharing on Facebook & Twitter
With the most recent upgrade, the ability to easily share events and the Meetup page itself, has vanished from view. It would be great if there was more flexibility for organizers to share whatever they want on Facebook and Twitter.

Include email text when returning emails sent to info@meetup.com
When an email from a member is sent using the email feature of meetup.com, members can turn off not being able to reply. Meetup kindly lets me know when I've sent an email to info@meetup.com, but I don't know which email it was.
Please include the email text on emails returned from info@email.com. This will help me figure out which email I sent has been returned.

Please bring old format back I can move my group to face book for free
Meetup had it going on at one time. With this new format I feel it is a waste for me to spend money for this when I can take the group to face book and not pay anything. Meetup was fun but is becoming a mess with this format here. I like my about page, the use of the calendar but now OMG what elso can be said

Map next to meetup header is confusing.
Change the map feature back to a pic next to the meetup heading. The map is often not correct.
