Make it easier to discreetly limit participation of nice yet weird members
I have a few members who are nice but weird. They don't warrant being removed from the group, but I would like to limit their participation by removing them from the mailing list. However, I cannot do so discreetly because they will receive an automatic confirmation email. Second: I would like to promote (discreetly) some events to certain members and the autotext for custom lists reads, "Your organizer sent some members of XXX Meetup." Not discreet!

Allow Organizers to add Amazon Associates links to books etc so they can monetize groups
I have a Writer Group. Many of my Writer's have works on Amazon. I would like to offer their books on a Page in my Group, and use my Amazon Associates link. The money I receive could be used to offset the costs of the Meetup and help me promote my writers.

Allow sponsors to offer better compensation to Organizers
I have some good sized groups and Sponsors are coming to me with offers, but they are mainly discounts on products. A sponsor is getting my list for nothing, and frankly, I receive nothing. I don't accept offers unless there is something of value for me, the organizer for my time. Sponsors should provide either the product in the form of a demo, or some sort of compensation.

Allow a main image for each event
I would love to have the ability to publish an image for each individual event. Specifically, an image near the event title, similar to the map. While there is an ability to place images within the event description, I find the editing controls clumsy and limited. A preset spot for an event image could provide a fun and eye-pleasing "pop" for the meetups.

Give us the option whether OR NOT to send an email when removing or declining a member.
Can we PLEASE have the option to send or NOT SEND an email when a member is removed or declined?? Right now we don't have an option, an email is automatically sent.
This will save us organizers a TON of drama and headaches.
It is not ALWAYS necessary to inform someone, mostly it is not, please leave that up for Us Organizers to decide. I believe letting members find out by themselves is nicer, sending such emails is just rude and not very nice.

Add a button or column for "Latest Activity" at top of home
So far, the only thing that I do not like about the new meetup is the ability to see "Latest Activity" at the top of the home page. Either add a column or button to go directly to the latest activity section.

We need to be able to cull the name tags. I have too many name tags of no-shows!
Right now I have to edit the attendance and put down the member as not coming in order to keep from printing another name tag I have left over from a previous meeting.

Automatic lists for Attended, Didn't Attend, No Show
I'd like to have an automatic list based on my edited attendance. Once I edit attendance, it would be nice to have an automatic list of members that attended paarticular event, those who didn't attend and no shows. If an event was large it is time consuming to create the custom lists, especially if all that RSVPd Yes didn't attend, etc.

What to bring list
Evite has a really cool feature that allows the host to list items and how many of that item are needed for the event. It then tracks who signs up to bring what and counts down the number of that item needed. Can we have something like that? It would really help for things like potlucks, camping trips etc.

Let me opt out of receiving an email telling me every single group who DIDN'T accept my meetup perk.

Include the entire description of the event in the meetup email, rather than cutting it off.
The old email used to include everything I typed about the meetup so people can get all the information in one place that is easy to print. The new format cuts off the description and makes it hard to keep up.Many people print out the email to have all the details on one page, but now they have to go to the site and then try to print it out. It used to be one step to know about a meetup, but now it is two because you have to go to the site. I am in several groups, and…

Allow me to block emails from somebody that seems to be advertising w/out blocking all meetup.com
I have received quite a few emails from somebody trying to promote a business. She seems to be creating events in a bunch of different groups. I'd like to block her emails, but it seems that all meetup emails got blocked. Please allow these types of emails to be blocked.

Text message to change meetups
Often our group needs to change plans at the last minute. There should be an option to add a txt msg emIl address to send notification to anyone who RSVP'd to a MeetUp if they added that information to their profile.

format of auto-reminder email
Please include city/zip in the "where" line of auto-reminder email.
Whoever came with current format of auto-reminder email lives in very small town with 10 streets total :(
The line "where" MUST include city or zip. Just street name is NOT enough, and annoying.1 vote -
Move up the "auto-remove" option
if a member doesn't look at the group for 3 months, automatically remove them from the group. Right now it is set for 6 months
