I would love to have star ratings attached to members: 1 star for 10 meetups attended, 2 stars for 20 or something similar. Different color stars for people who step up to hosts or organize or post suggestions etc. And have the stars listed next to their names under their profile and the member list, that way there's another form of incentive for members for actually showing up to meetups, gain recognition and appreciation for posting/hosting/organizing meetups.

Add feature that allows a Co or Assistant Organizer to be designated to approve and organize new member requests to the group.

You used to have a spell check on the tool bar for the description part of the meetup until you made all the changes. I write very detailed descriptions and need to do a spell check. You do have an ABC strikethrough -- maybe that was meant to be spell check?

it's too hard to keep in touch with all the cool folks I meet at different MeetUps. If we could send each other friend requests through MeetUp (like FaceBook) it'd be easier to reconnect, and cross promote groups. Why give FB all your traffic, I'd network here more if you enabled it! Thx :)

If a sponsor has to pay the same amount per group to sponsor it, I would imagine they would want to have the choice to specify the group size as a parameter, as some groups are only a few people, while others can have many hundreds (or thousands), which they can reach for the same $5 per month as a sponsor.

If I'm a new member and I want to look at previous events on the calendar out of curiosity, the thing keepps reverting back to the latest month. Some of these meetup sites have been around for years. It's really annoying to go back and look at multiple events from the past because you have to keep back clicking the months!

I want to be able to control link colors in my write ups so they stand out. Amen.

I've been trying to find certain ideas/suggestions regarding "Interests," but because you guys use multiple terms for it ("Topics" and "Alert Lists" I've seen referred to in a few places), people have basically posted the same ideas under different terms. Would be nice if the terminology were consistent.

Please add boxes to input what date and event our payment is being made for. We often have events that must be paid for in advance in addition to our regularly scheduled meetings. Being able to add the date and description to our payment is beneficial to the organizer and the member.

I schedule events across multiple states. Please end limiting event location options to your home zip. I need to get event locations in NYC or Charlotte or Baltimore. Who thought this improvement was a good idea?

We don't always want to put a street address for a meetup, especially if it is a private residence. Why not let us put "To be Emailed to those attending' or something similar.
Also, adding a zip code field makes more sense than the city & state as far as making the map more accurate.

We are a moms group and we use our message boards a lot, but now with the change no one is reading the message boards. I have to send an email to everyone so that it is seen and read.

On the cities list in Account settings are many small cities but Zielona Gora in not listed (there's Grunberg but it's in german, not polish). It's one of two major cities in it's region.
