Link Meetup Everywhere to an existing Meetup Group
I have recently been finding that there have been a few Meetup Everywheres that my particular Meetup group has ended up planning. It would be extremely beneficial if there was a way to either connect/cross-post/link an existing Meetup Everywhere with an existing meetup group. Why should someone have to RSVP twice? Personally, I'd like both the event and the RSVPs to show up in both places.

bump. I am sure the common scenario is that someone starts a meetup group and then finds out about/has the need for meetup everywhere at a later stage. Being able to convert a group to a sub-group of meetup everywhere is crucial.

SO ... meetup everywhere does not allow you to import existing meetup group "join links" that match your community guidelines?

[[BUMP]] I find it very unlikely that I'm one of the only ones out there that wants or sees a need for this feature. Maybe not everyone "gets" MeetupEverywhere yet. Not sure.

Excellent request Marc. I think the key requirements would be to
a) be able to link to an existing meetup from MeetupEverywhere
b) have the event on MeetupEverywhere automatically update with the number of people reqistered for the event. The actual details of the registered members could then be viewed from the specific event meetup. -
