  @Adam: Read the request carefully, we want MEMBERS to be able to post videos like they can photos. We are NOT asking for the Meetup Organizer to post a video in a Meetup description. We are asking for MEMBERS to have video albums they can all contribute to.

  Please bring the Video module back to the Home Page. We invested in cameras and video editing software and actively used the Video Module before it was removed Jan 27th. We showed past events and even braodcast live events! This feature was electric and energized the group. Please bring it back as an option to the Home page, thank you.

  I organize the Meetup Group - Salsa Familia. We are a street dance salsa club. Last evening we had several hundred dancers and many more spectators dancing on the street. The club has 100s of videos on Youtube, Facebook and other places. However, on Meetup.com we do not have videos even though this is the place where I am trying to get people to join. What a wonderful resource we would have if we can show the those people searching for a meetup in general and Salsa in particular what a wonderful program we have when they view us on video.

  You could allow a youtube video of the event to be directly embedded in the photo album.

  It does have a number of advantages when you can use a Video. Fascinating how the minds at Meetup.com HQ go about making changes to things we pay for.

  Yes, I strongly agree. We should be able to upload videos associated w/ events just like photos. Also, for the "Video" module, allow the upload of a video w/o having to "embed" a link.
