"Good to see you" spam - STOP introducing new ways to spam members.
Just got the email explaining the new "Good to see you" feature. This type of vapid, meaningless communication adds nothing to a Meetup group - except more email.
It takes about 15 seconds to click on a past event and send a personal greeting to an individual you enjoyed meeting. That is a good avenue for people who genuinely enjoyed meeting eachother. What you are encouraging here is mindless spamming.
Not a feature request.

This IS a request to remove a feature. See http://meetup.uservoice.com/forums/37079-ideas-and-suggestions-for-meetup/suggestions/3232443-kill-the-good-to-see-you-button where it was reborn unless it's killed again by "Admin"

So How do we get MUHQ to stop ignoring the OVERWHELMING dislike for the feature? See the forum if you don't believe me... http://www.meetup.com/boards/thread/26236952/0/
If uservoice is as valuable as MUHQ makes out then how come this "poke" function did not come from UserVoice? And when we try to employ UserVoice we are silenced by a contemptuous citation of a technicality.
This only strengthens my suspicion that UserVoice is a cynical way to fob off customers rather than engage.
