organiser notes hidden from members
I would like the ability to post hidden notes on a trip that only the organiser can see, for example;
I run a hiking group, and we keep the information on the page to the point - but instead of having to make extra organiser only notes about the logistics and trip to view prior to going - some where else -it would be so much more handy to have a page or link on that actually trip that i could check with the final numbers just prior to going.

This would be helpful for keeping a venue's phone number handy, the date of a reservation, the name of who booked the reservation etc...

Would it be helpful Will to use the "Leave instructions for the Event Hosts" section under "Leave instructions for the Event Hosts"? Oftentimes I've used it as my notepad and refer back to it. If I change the event host, the new host should see record to be in the loop.

I understand what you meant. It is not likely to see the light of day.
I suggested the workaround you can use now.Add a link in the event to the post; and the post to the event.
Members clicking on the link won't see the post, but it would be there for organizers to quickly refer to. -

Hi davidrturner,
what i meant was a part of a page within and event rather than a separate entire event.
I have found keeping the trip information brief and blunt means the most people will read and take it in, but planning in advance i still need to note down details on the logistics, locations, intended routes etc to remind my self right before the trip when it comes up - stuff that would make the event right up to much and that the members done need to know .
just like you can hide the meetup location from no members it would be cool to have a txt box for organiser view only... with in that event

A group organizer (or Co- or Assistant-) can create/edit a group PAGE to be viewable to only the Org+COs, or to the leadership team, or to all members.
