How about a live feed in the top front page of every group that way group members can say something or make a quick suggestion or propose a spontaneous meetup and people can see it right away or get an email notification of an update to the live feed? The reason for this is that I, for example, have posted suggestions but i really feel like people don't really go over to the suggestions section. It doesn't get enough visibility so suggestions can just sit there. A live feed, as mentioned, could have someone saying HEY, who wants to do this today and maybe email alerts happen (that you can turn off) and everyone in the group knows and it can get immediate responses. or in my case i would use it like HEY, who wants to meet up and do this! Visit the suggested meetup section and vote it!... and it would give visibility to my suggestion.

This idea allows members to have more visibility themselves and to also give ideas more visibility and also everyone can see what's going on currently and it acts like a public social bulletin board.
