Is there a way of receive a once-a-day email for comments rather then an email for every comment?
I use gmail and everytime there is a comment for a meetup activity I am going on, I get an email. Unfortunately the subject line is always different so gmail doesn't present them as a thread. The only options I see are a) no email notifications on comments or b) email notification after each comment. Is there a way to get the comments sent on a daily-only basis together?

If this issue is not dealt with, you are going to have arguments in meetup groups among their members. In my group have these people having a conversation with another member by posting to the meetup page, even though it has nothing to do with the others, we all get spammed by this! People are going to get fed up soon and started yelling at people that do this and this will destroy the friendly atmosphere of the group!
This BADLY needs to get fixed.
My e-mail goes to my phone so I get continually disturbed by messages that have nothing to do with me.
It's spam!

This is a very important issue. My e-mail box is getting taken over by messages that have nothing to do with me. I want to turn this option off, but I don't want to miss important messages from the organizer!
There should be a once a day digest, but the option to immediately get messages from the organizer only.
