The waitlist system is not "couples friendly", as the waitlist mechnicanism favors singles are selected from the waitlist before couples and friends. From a programming point of view this should be easy to fix. Otherwise we will have to start signing up as singles, to be treated fairly. This is too bad, because couples use the +1 indicator to know if other couples are likely to attend a meetup.
