How about adding shared by or recommended by in addition to hosted by for a scheduled event
When an event is schedule is tags the scheduler a user as hosted by; however, that person may just be sharing notification of an event 'an FYI this might interest the some members of our group' per se. For example one might want to share an event with their group but may not be able to attend themselves.
In the scheduling of an event details for whose the hosting the event could there be a check box for hosted by; recommended by; shared by or something like that .... It will take the burden off the scheduler that they might need to host (be present). And if there is enough interest through comments an attendee can take the lead as the 'host'. Just a thought
