Create more options when it comes to who and how many photos can be viewed
Can we have more options when it comes to who and how many photos can be viewed. I want members of the groups I’m in to be able to see my photos (not just 1 main photo), but I don’t want the public to see them. If I hide my photos –excluding a groups’ profile photo – no one can see any of my other pictures, but if I unhide them then people who aren’t even members of meetup.com can see all of my photos.
Maybe on each group’s profile page we can select which photos can be viewed by members only, which can be viewed by the public, and which can be hidden. That way I’ll have the option to share 4 photos with ‘Group A’, show 2 in ‘Group B’, and just 1 main public photo on ‘Group C’.

I'm not that paranoid. And since anyone can join a group, anyone can email anyone. I also assume that members can only be emailed from within Meetup.
i tend to avoid groups that 'hide' everything, like they are some kind of elitist or secret group.

Yes, yes, yes! Please make it where only those in your group can view your profile picture and info!! We are having random 'creepy' emails to our female members commenting on their profile photos. Safety should be a priority here.

My comment would be to add the feature that we can select to show our pictures only when we RSVP to a particular event to those attending the event only. Anyone can join a group and so showing to group members doesnt' really protect our privacy I prefer an anonymous group photo and the ability to share with meet up event group attendees.

I'm a group organizer, and I love this idea!
