Enpower the "poll" option
-At the moment just 12 lines are allowed in the poll option, if you need to ask for more than 12 choices, you can't use this feature.
-What about thinking a way to obtain an univocal vote eg. not by using a cookie but your meetup Email identity, with a time interval to open-close the poll...etc..?

You could just send an email out to your whole group with a link to the poll page.

Can't get the poll function to work except to create a poll. Can't see a way to email the poll to members.

That's a great idea, being able to assign a poll to a specific meetup.

Totally agree Jacqueline. The current feature is like having a great information tool, but it's tucked away and no one hears about it. I'd also suggest a meet up specific pop up reminder that the member has to answer the poll. Here are my thoughts. When a meet up group member clicks on any page and that meet up group has a poll, a pop up window is displayed reminding or nitofying the member to answer the poll.

Why can't you use the feature? You can have more than one poll.

I agree Mary. They aren't useful at all the way it is...

As an organizer it would be great to have our current polls in their own box right on the meetup group home page. You have to look too hard to find the polls and it makes them difficult to promote. Thanks! Please vote for this suggestion!

I'd be happy with only organizers being able to see who voted,

Hi - while I understand this request, perhaps modify it so that the poll is set to be either confidential or not, and once posted, that it be clear if responses are confidential. You will get more honest feedback if they are confidential. If you want the person's name, either their response isn't confidential by entering their name or keep it confidential by not entering their name.
