Add venue phone number option to the event location.
It would help members who get lost going to an event, or who need to reach the organizer. amembers also may call a venue to get additional information when needed, eg. do they serve gluten free meals.
You must go to "YOUR VENUES" to add a phone number. To do so, go to "GROUP TOOLS" then to "GROUP SETTINGS" then to "YOUR VENUES". Located the venue that you want to add a phone number to, then click on "EDIT" on the right side. You will now be able to add a number. Just make sure that you click "SAVE CHANGES".

I cannot find any phone number field, either.
It would be good to have the possibility of including a phone number in a way that only members could see it.
I may still want to advertise the venue to non-members, however not want to disclose phone numbers outside the group.
You may be using an older version. There is no field for entering the phone number when adding a new meetup venue or when choosing a venue that's already been used in the past. The only fields are the name and address of the place.
I plan the meetups for three groups and have to add the phone number as part of the event description. The phone number option is no longer a field to complete when entering the location for an event. The option was on the old meetup site, but not the current one.
