Secured contact list of members accessible only for organizers, co-organizers and event organizers.
For every event when members RSVP I have questions asked for mobile no. and email id and members are often upset about entering the same information again for all the events they plan to attend. Can we have a contacts field included which members can fill when they join the group. so when the organizer prints the RSVP list it includes the email address and contact no. of all the members attending.

I think this is important because sometimes you have to make change just before the meeting like an emergency cancelation or new location and not everyone has access to their emal/website to get the last minute change.

We have a requirement to store the actual name and address and next of kin details of our members so that in the case of an incident on the mountain we are able to inform the police and mountain rescue services who is involved, missing, injured etc. at the moment we have no way of recording this information sensibly in meetup. I think a good solution would be to provide something like 10 organiser defined fields per member which could be labled as required for each meetup group by the organiser so that this member specific information could be stored within the system effectivly. A recent incident caused the emergency services much concern as the only information that could be give was the first name of one of those involved. and both names on the second person. I support this idea.

As an organizer, I think having access to more contact information is a good thing. Allow the organizer to decide if it is mandatory or voluntary for THEIR meetup group. Also, only the organizers should have access to this information. Therefore, it should be separate from the "five questions." We need to have more ways to reach members if event changes are last minute or people RSVP but don't show up! Great idea!!!

I agree with Crista- this should be voluntary, but an option for people to offer that information would be wonderful!

At least enforce first and last names for building security!

I collect a list of about 8 questions when the member joins. I made an excel spreadsheet and then copied it to my phone. Makes it very handy ... Once you have all the info, then put it in your contacts. :)

Yes Organizers should have access to this info. Meetup has all of the emails of our members why can't we have them too. Phone numbers would be very helpful for those last minute changes. You can't look at your computer when you have already left the house, but you can get a text messg.

As long as including one's cell # and Email contact info is VOLUNTARY, I don't see a reason not to include this!!! It would be very helpfull for organizers, for those last minute changes or cancelations. Perhaps a way to "test" this is to make the info available for HEAD organizer/Co-organizers only, those paying the bill and directly accountable, and not assistant/event organizers.

I'd love to see a spot for phones and emails. It doesn't have to be a required field, but keep in mind they may not be notified properly if changes take place. I agree with an option for it to only be available to the organizer or host.

I would not join some groups, if this were required. No, thank you!
