  I am VERY suprised this isn't part of MeetUp yet, I've been an organiser for almost two years now with my first group closing due to moving location and my second group now running 1.5 years later.

  I hate hounding people to collect fees and as such I've paid almost 80% of all the fees so far and that isn't fair on me trying to provide a group the ability to create events and meetup with each other.

  So .. GET CRACKING AND MAKE AUTOMATIC DUES VIA PAYPAL and amazon payments.

  Sara - Where can you turn off rsvp for upaid members? I'm not finding it or maybe it's right in front of me and I'm just blind. Help!

  Turning off RSVP for unpaid members will eliminate NO SHOW and increse the chance of getting in for paid members on events with limits.

  I'm the Treasurer. How can I correct or delete an erroneous Dues entry? It corrupts the financial report.

  That's an excellent idea. It just makes common sense. Any accounting feature should have a filter to sort the data we need.

  I have been on the board of a kayaking club. We often get requests for trial memberships. The ability to offer a 3 month trial membership would be extremely valuable!!!

  This is an essential piece of any dues payment feature.

  I am part of a kayaking club that requires dues for membership. We are considering using Meetup for our club. However, the lack of a renewal feature is a major obstacle that prevents us from using Meetup. We need a fully featured renewal option with automatic reminders and the ability to choose what parts of the site are accessible to paid members versus those who have not yet renewed.

  I can't imagine you would create a one time pay to join feature without having in the back of your mind the need for renewals. Hopefully you are already busily working on a dues feature with more functionality which will soon be available.

  This is a great idea! Along with this there should be a date that the member can use to designate which payment they want it to be credited towards.

  This is a great idea! Along with this there should be a date for the member who is paying so we know what payment goes with which date.
