add the ability for organizers/ to stop getting emails about ratings for meetups.
Organizers, co-organizers, and event hosts get emails after a meetup in their group saying whether ratings are in or not in for that past meetup. There is currently no way to not receive these emails. Meetup.com should allow users to change their notification status regarding ratings emails.

Again, this is just SPAM as usual which meetup is well known for and why so many members get annoyed and leave the website all together. For very active groups this feature is extremely annoying, active members would rate a meetup directly from the website if they wish to, they DO NOT need to get an email after every meetup asking them how the meetup was... Also, for some small & private groups it makes no sense to rate a friend's baby shower, birthday party etc. !

please add the feature to prevent the "How was the meetup?" question. I dont pay 150 dollars a year to the site just so that it can drive me nuts with a ton of email.

Chris, this suggestion isn't asking that the ratings stop. It's asking that organizers and everyone else who gets the emails that tell us that the ratings are in are given the option to switch off those emails. The ratings would still occur.

Out of frustration at the sheer number of automated emails, I have advised my members to delete the Ratings emails whenever they receive one. We have two repeated meetups each week which are always identical. I don't want my members to be bombarded with requests to rate each one, as this buries emails about useful things.

Rating events can be helpful to the organizer so that they will know if the members like a particular venue. However, some organizers use this rating system as an ego builder and only want to see excellent ratings. If the members don't like a particular event that they attended and say so some organizers even retaliate against the writer. Yes this is true, sad but true, as I know several people this has happened to and now they won't rate any meetups good or bad. Every one likes to hear positive comments but shouldn't we learn from negative comments as well.

We never use the ratings and it's one of those annoying emails that I just have to live with and delete. Having an option to turn that off seems like a simple fix and would be appreciated.

after someone attends a meetup event, allow organizers to remove negative comments in the "who went" section. How can you allow members to have control over the organizer??
Radio stations use a 7 second delay to erase curse words or negative harmful comments. The radio station is in control not the caller. On MU the member has control over the organizer. - THERE HAS TO BE A DELETE BUTTON - This is the most crucial feature for the survival of groups. -

Please stop SPAMMING me with this rediculous email about ratings: "No ratings yet for..." I vote to remove this outgoing message to all organizers. i have a special filter folder named, "SPAM: Meetup". I get so many emails a day from organizing THREE meetup groups. I look forward to the removal of "No ratings yet for..." as an outgoing message to all organizers of Meetups. Less MEETUP SPAM for all!

With all the glitches and problems that the new rollout created, I have used all of my votes, but I agree. People get enough freakin' emails already without having to respond to this. This is especially true now that the overall ratings which used to be prominently displayed on the front page seem to have disappeared.

Great idea. My collective groups have hosted over 2,000 events in the last 4 years.

Yes please! This was the issue I was logging on to write about so I am very glad to see someone else noted it. We host ~10 / week and it is very annoying to see it in my inbox for each event.

Yes .. please allow organizers to opt out of this. I check the ratings, I don't need a reminder.

yes please let event organizers choose if they want to recieve emails or not. We do not need to see dozens of emails fill our mailbox every day.

Yeah, I feel these e-mails are kind of useless.
