Change notes into a meetup

Instead of creating meetup right away, we create notes in the calendar to let members know about upcoming events. If a member is interesting to host the event, we will change it into a meetup. Is there an easy way to change a note into a meetup event, just like how ideas can be changed into a meetup event?

        This idea has been posted other times and I SO support this. Can we somehow get these ideas combined so that the votes can be combined? This way, it'll show more votes and it'll probably get done. Just saying.

        I dig this idea. Show interest for a meetup, to generate a meetup. For maybe, a "Potential meetup."
