allow admins to auto add members to the group!
There is no way to batch "force add" people to the Meetup group. I am trying to migrate our club from Google Groups to Meetup and am in testing phase now. We have over 200 members, and cannot afford to wait for each of them to register themselves, one by one!

it's a real drag moving to meetup caused my group attendance to go down so much. I need to be able to add my members to the meetup platform.

Will you add people who don't want to join Meetup?
If your members want to join, nothing is stopping them. If they don't want to join Meetup, it would be pretty rude to add them against their will.

Color me curious, but why not send a message via the old group to tell them to sign up at the new location by a deadline? Why not run the old group until the cutoff date? Forcing people to switch doesn't sound right - what if they don't want to go?

This is *N-O-T* a good idea. I do *N-O-T* want to be forced into another group that I have no idea what it might be! Privacy is important and it's up to EACH ONE of us to determine for ourselves what groups we want to be in.

We are a start-up NPO and already have about 200 members who have signed up with us. We are thinking of transferring to MeetUp (and are testing out the site right now) but would appreciate the option to directly add the members who are already signed up with us instead of asking them to go through the individual process of signing up.
Please make it possible for admins to add members to the group directly. Thank you. -

It's a lot of work for one person to administer adding members to our group. We need all the help from admins to have this feature.
