Google Maps (especially for Mobile) doesn't parse well addresses like "Box (1440 El Camino Real, ...)" -- it'll find Jack-in-the-Box, etc. Better would be "Box near 1440 El Camino Real, ...".

When using the drop down boxes (for example when you remove a member) in Chrome, it does not recognize the drop down box. I have to go into IE to do these functions.

I know there is a Southern California Meetup Organizers Group. There are others. Meetup HQ should send its people out to meetings with these Organizer groups to hear our voices about the changes they've created with New Meetup. The good and the bad. Meetup HQ needs to interact with its Organizers to find solutions together.

Let's automate things!

Allow the organizer to choose any andor all of the payment choices (PayPal, Amazon, Cash) for the members, including one for direct payment to a venue.

Create functionality that only allows members to RSVP "Yes" for an event, unless they are changing from a "Yes" to a "No."
Organizers do not need to recieve email every time a member says no. Obviously if they are not a yes, they are a no. If they wish to leave a comment as to why they cannot make it, they can leave a comment on the event.

If I have subscribed to many Meetups and I have a busy calendar, I'd like the ability to delete or hide individual Meetups on Google Calendar. And not have to go back to Meetup.com to change RSVP status.

I am a helper organizer of a large hiking club and we always have challenges arranging car rides. It would be great if participants could indicate if they can offer transportation, for how many, and from where to where, and allow people to request a ride. Right now people have to email each other.

I understand you have no plans to make page layouts customizable, so maybe a lesser suggestion... it would be great to be able to place sponsors in a higher profile screen position. Currently the visitors of my page need to scroll before they see them.

Becomes an issue when sponsors are keen on good screen realestate.

Stop sending email out every time there is a comment. Yes, I know you can control what email you receive individually. However, that does not prevent people from using the comments for inappropriate rants, promotion of things that have nothing to do with Meetup, religious beliefs, etc. As an Organizer, I do my best to protect members from this kind of email. I'm the only one with access to the list now. At the very least allow Organizers the option to choose whether comments get sent as email to members.

i'm sorry for this situation where a user must be the one to inform the IT tech support of a big online company that their website doesnt show on google's results, but the fact is if you try to search for " meet new people" or other relating subjects the meetup website doesn't show in google search results....

I would like to have the note function have the same capabilities as the event function. I want to be able to schedule and repeat notes. I have notes that repeat daily/weekly/monthly and have to copy by hand. This would make my life SO MUCH easier...

Add a Global Recall Discussion that a group could "subscribe to" (or better yet, "opt out of"... as there's many motorcycle riding groups, car groups, etc. All groups withing a "classification" should be able to see it, even if their group is private, as this is great public information specific to a targeted group of meetup groups.

Is there a way to implement a one way for people to communicate but when then confirm they are asked "do you want to communicate to only the leader, the attending, all". It's annoying to see postings (which create discussion where they should not be) for questions that should only go to the leader. New users are very confused!
