"Find out how to keep this meetup going" email when an organizer steps down, with links to the group.
When an organizer steps down, an automated message goes out that contains only one link: "Keep this group going". Members who click that button instantly become organizer. Dumb! Instead, the button should take them to info about how to become organizer of that group, including links to the group page so the member can review it first.

Meetup Everwhere Map - more interaction required
The map on meetup everywhere is lacking a lot of functions. Would be beneficial if the map zoomed in more than it did so you can see
local areas a bit more. Users coming to the page for the first time automatically want to interact with the map. Wouldn't it make sense when people type in their location that the map went to their location? Then they can see if there are any pins on the map. Currently when you hover over a pin, it changes to a hand which suggests that you can click on it, but nothing happens…1 vote -
Meetup everywhere new community notification
As the meetup everywhere page owner, I would like to know when a new community has started or a member has joined. Currently I am not notified of this but have to visit and refresh the website all day to see what new additions there are. A "newest communities" section would be nice too for anyone visiting the page.

Give organizers the ability to approve/decline photos before they are posted to the site.
Not all group members want their pictures taken and posted on the site. Organizers should be able to moderate pictures that group members try to post.

Email history for 'Email Community' - Meetup Everywhere
When emailing Meetup Planners and members there is no history to see what you last emailed them. I now have 22 communities for my site and I am starting to lose track of what I have sent to people. I can only imagine what a headache it might be for the one's with thousands of communities. Sometimes it is necessary to send a "welcome, here's some info" to the newcomers, but you don't necessarily want ALL of your communities to get it, so tailored messages are needed. An email/message history I believe would be most beneficial. Perhaps it could be…

Please replace the massive distracting 'show me the meetups' bar with a *smaller* link.
It is annoying and distracting to have the 'show me the meetups' bar at the bottom of the screen permenantly in my face every time I view a page in a group I'm not subscribed to. It is particularly distracting when scrolling down the page while reading.
Certainly the link is useful, but taking up 10% of the page for this banner is wholly disproportionate to that usefulness and is a waste of space.
But unlike previous requests I am *not* asking for it to be removed I am asking for it to be replaced with a smaller link which…

How about instead of wasting time on silly things like "good to see you" after an event, we'd like a way to save a draft of email to members
Above. Quite often Organizers would like to write up a draft for the other Organizers to see before emailing all members & we can't do that. We miss being able to list what people are bringing when they RSVP so that it shows next to their name & picture. Please stop wasting time ont he silly things like "good to see you". We already know that it was!

organizer email notification when members RSVP
I would suggest that you change the email notification for organizers when someone RSVPs back to the way they were before. I liked seeing in the subject "<person> is/is not attending" instead of "Latest RSVPs for <event name>. This way, the organizer knows without even opening the email whether or not someone is or is not attending. Also, I don't like the format of the content. I liked the old way.

We need a better a better way to reach non-active members!
Let's face the facts.
Its hard to engage inactive members. Sending emails and notifications just get lost in the sea of meetup notifications.
Gaining new members to compensate inactive members within meetup is basically nonexistent.
Can we get some type of advertising tool or pay to be featured meetups, or let us upload custom code to do display remarketing ads or somethign!

Bring back time/date in RSVP change notification e-mails
You have changed latest RSVP notification e-mail system. I have a problem with the new system because I put penalties for late cancellations.
I need to know in the e-mail:
1. What time they have changed their RSVP
2. What was their previous status (was it from waiting list or was it from "yes"? or "no"?)I know many organizers put penalties for late cancellations like me, so please include those information on the notifications or put it back as it was before as soon as possible.

Perks - have ability to hide the url, when one clicks on redeem, and have text instead
Would be good if we were able to choose if a url link showed or not when someone clicks on the redeem, of the Perks area.
At present when doing above, it comes up with the 'How to Redeem' and the green box, showing the whole url.
Would wish to have the url disguised and not be shown, and allow us to place the wording we wish to appear there instead.
This would be similar to discussions, where we can select the link icon on the toolbar and link to an external url and have our wording show instead of…

Allow attendees to events to vote on date, time or venue for meetup.
Eg. I'm organizing a dinner and movie for the weekend, but would like to have the highest participation possible. I don't have a preference on Friday, Sat, or Sunday. I post the meetup, and the members who RSVP yes, has a selection on which date they can attend. 3 days prior to first event day available, votes close and the date most chosen is the date of the event.
Could also be used for any other choice for members. date, time, venue, etc.

Why are the upcoming events the smallest visible thing on the personal Meetup Home Page?
If you are already subscribed to a few groups then the most important thing to the user is keeping up with all the Events that are coming up in those Groups.
Thus it would make sense that on the personal home page the main, central thing should be all the upcoming events. Instead on the current home page the largest section of the page is devoted to some vaguely related group suggestions.
The upcoming events for subscribed groups is squeezed in on the right under the calender and only shows the next weeks events.
To get a good overview of…

Badge the organizers in comments
Would be nice to distinguish and badge the organizers in comments/conversations sections so it's easy to see organizers responses which may have important and critical info for members.

Format all meetup notification emails with the event date first on the subject line, cut-off second. Shorten intro phrases.
I'm in a LOT of groups, so I get a ton of notification emails. Many I don't read for a while, and many I keep for future reference, so they build up quickly. When it comes time to clean up my mailbox (past events, etc), it's currently a painful task...many subject lines don't even have the event date included, so the email must be opened. If ALL notifications listed the event date first, managing them would be extremely easier! Listing the response cut-off date second would also be helpful. The event title is next most important, so shorten all the…

Reuse Bio
Make the group joining process easier by allowing users to reuse their bio from other previously joined groups. User could select from multiple bios via dropdown.

Don't make it so easy for members to RSVP via email without reading event details.
Too many members can and do RSVP from their email announcements, which is great for them, but the current template does not show enough event details and members are not very often reading the full event details before they RSVP and thus, are ignoring special provisions that the event host has asked for. Please make it at least and OPTION for the event host to require that the full event post be read before a person can RSVP. Another flaw with the current system is when an member RSVP's from their email, Meetup takes them directly OUT of the event…

Provide better analytic tools and ways to contact members
Organizers need more robust ways to track participation in their groups, and quick access tools for contacting different groups of members. I would like to be able to a) see on the member page when the last time was that a member attended an event and/or how many events the member has attended (right now that information requires viewing the individual members page which is extra clicks), and b) be able to quickly email members who have not attended an event in X amount of time to encourage their participation. Right now, we can only view and email members based…
