Notify all who RSVP'd "YES" via e-mail if a meetup is changed.
If I have signed up for a meetup, I want you to e-mail me when that meetup is changed or cancelled.
It's pretty lame that I have to keep checking up to make sure the thing is on, and even worse that if the organizer changes the date, my "YES" is transferred to the new date without my permission or knowledge.3 votes -
Be able to share epub or pdf files with other members! Your current copy and paste application is terrible!
When hosting an event, my members take notes. I would like to be able to send them copies of my files instead, either by sending a pdf or an epub file. Let's make it easy for members!

Not display a list of similar groups every time some one rsvp for an event
Many of the groups that come up after a member rsvp are not related. This is a promotional tool and it is already a column on the home page.

Add a guideline or policy page
On the top bar can you add a guideline/policy page or FAQ page. I direct members to this when they join but most people don't read this email. This would cut down on the repeated numerous questions that I get asked. Thanks.

Large photos on "See All Photos" page
On photo album pages with many photos, it takes too many clicks to go through them one by one (especially albums with 100+ photos).
If you click the "See all photos" page, it loads them all but the sizes are much too small.
I would like to see all the photos on one page with the large sizes (600 pixels width, not the high res as that takes too long to load).
Currently I have a UserScript to do this automatically:
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/163585It would be nice to not resort to hacks though : )

I suggest that you do not state what other groups a person is in when they suggest or organize a meetup.
Some group memberships are private and not meant to be publicized in all groups.

let people track (in one place) potential meet-ups they want to attend before having to RSVP.
Right now you can go to one page to see all the available meet-ups in all the groups you signed up for or in a particular area. If you see several you like you either have to RSVP or remember where you saw the meet-up to go back and review it. It would be great to be able to "track" the meet-ups you are interested in, in one spot then you could go back and sign-up for them if you want. That way you don't have to search around to figure out where you saw the meet-up or back out…

create a "watch event" list
I suggest we create a "watch event" list so that if we are interested in particular events but are not yet sure if we can attend or not; then we can come back to our "watch event" list later. This way we don't have to scroll through dozens of groups that we may be members of, & nor do we have to scroll through dozens of events in each of the groups in order to find one particular event. I am a member of 8 odd groups and its already hard enough compelling me to not want to go thru…

Provide the ability to bookmark events so w can review them later without RSVP
Often you find an event interesting but don't want to RSVP at that moment in time, creating a wishlist or a bookmark of events helps you remember about the event. This is very useful when you are part of many groups and events are published a few weeks in advance.

don't put drop down menus directly above the search box so that guests won't want to come and find your ass in the middle of the night
don't put drop down menus directly above the search box so that guests won't have a dozen menu options just because their mouse scrolled over it when they want to actually type something in the fucking search box, and then they will want to come and find your ass in the middle of the goddamn night.

Profile: to show which meetups you both been to and maybe upcoming ones too
it would be great if you and the other person been to when you read their profile. It would be way easier to recall where and when you have met them. It would be a great function for someone like me who can never remember names and faces. Also

Allow hosts to select individually if they want to get RSVP emails.
As a HOST I don't want to receive gazillion emails when someone RSVPs. I can go to the event and see how many people RSVPed.
If I uncheck that option when all of the HOSTS including the Organizer and Assistants will not see these emails. I believe each HOST and Organizer should decide if they want to receive all emails or not.1 voteThanks, we’re looking at this!

Have a "forum" for retiring or simply aging singers & actors, to discuss what we do with ourselves & egos after we "hang it up"?
I would like to organize a forum for retiring or simply aging singers & actors, to discuss what do we do with ourselves and our egos when we decide to "hang it up"...and how do we know when that time is right? I would perhaps call it "Ensemble" (a play on the movie title, "Quartet".) Do we still perform? Do we find other mediums? Do we accept gracefully the facts of aging? What do we do to compensate for the ego strokes we got as entertainers?? H-m-m-there's lots of us here in this area. Do you think it's a viable…

Reduce the number of emails that are sent (and can't be disabled) to avoid being blocked as spam
Microsoft (our University's email provider) just banned ALL inbound emails from meetup because they are now classified as "malicious" due to the sheer number that are sent. Meetup claims that "your email has been bouncing" and now you know why!

Support <iframe> tags (or equivalent) on Pages
I'm trying to bring more informative content into the Pages on my Meetup site. It would help a lot if I could embed views of web pages on other sites (e.g., like one would with an HTML <iframe>), rather than just linking to them.

Allow Organizers to adjust the amount of control Asst Organizers, etc. have to the site.
I would love to see the ability to have control of what is seen and accessed by an Assistant Organizer, or Event Organizers, and other members of the site.

Improve the on-boarding questionnaire
For groups that have multiple "demographics" it's hard to figure out which is which. For my group for example, I have Designers, Developers and "Other".
Would be great to have an option to have a radio button in the onboarding form for the group, and be able to apply that as a custom title or property.

Create a penalty system for people who don't show up after RSVPing.
Many people RSVP for an event but don't show up. Why not create a penalty system, which puts a strike against a person who didn't show up. If the person crosses a particular number of strikes decided by the organizer, the member could be warned or kicked out of the group. Also could help getting quality people (without any penalties) for limited spot events. A similar system could also exist for those who show up every time they RSVP.
