Allow people to add friends from meetup.com, like you used to. Great for staying in touch, and inviting them to other meetups.

Create a page on the site where local Event Space providers can offer their space to Meetup Organizers.
Create a page on the site where local "Event Space providers" can offer their space to Meetup Organizers. Many times organizers have a hard time locating affordable or free space for events. This resource page would provide organizers with localized listings of providers.
This information is then used to expand meetup by allowing more organizers to find better more suitable venues to host events. This expands meetup capabilities to host more events.
I propose a page where people like myself can promote their space with a Space Profile: Photos of all the rooms, details on each space, affordable costs if…

provide us an email address to which to report abuse and send complaints
We recently had a scam artist join our group. This person emailed several women, asking them to contact him outside of meetup the very first day he joined. Before I could report abuse, an Organizer had already deleted him from the group. I am now looking for an email address or a "contact us" button to which to forward the abuser's email. There either isn't one, or it isn't easily found, for users. It would be great if we had an email address to which to report abuse and send complaints. Thanks

Create a far more customizable home page
I suggest you allow a bit more customization for the pages involved in a meetup site. Especially for the home page. I want to be able to at least move certain elements around, decide what shows on the homepage and what doesn't, etc. In addition, the message board seems to be an afterthought and doesn't stick out at all. I want the ability to have our members chat and be interested in chatting. I know a chat box on the main page was declined, but is there somewhere I can at least post notes or something like that to new…

Why do we have to pay full membership to have one more meet up group?
I have 3 successful meet up groups in Switzerland, The Basel Dragons running club with 160 members, The Basel Hash with 90 members and the Basel mountain bike club which is new and already has 60 members. In all cases I have co-organisers that help run the groups. Why must I have to pay the whole yearly fee again to start up one more group? why can't I have an add on fee per meet up group? as paying for another 3 gives me no insentive to start one more group up.

Past meetups should be isolated and recorded for an individuals reflection on previous events attended personally.
Just like a photo album, events should be kept in a folder specific to the individual. This would be great for reflection and memory on all that one has done within the month, year, life, etc.

it would be better if when cliking on a person's profile, you could see the events that that person is attending that day or week.
it would be better if when cliking on a person's profile, you could see the events that that person is attending that day or week. Right now, a person can see what events I'm attending only if they happen to be looking, by coincidence, at the page of the event I'm attending. Instead it would be better if once a person sees my profile between the members of a group, they could click on it and see what events I reserved for with any group other than the one where the person found my profile. Just like now you can…

Advance search for event based on meetup time and location. For example, I will like to find tennis meetup event after 7:30pm on weekday

Make the "Rate this Meetup" private / anonymous
Please make the "Rate this Meetup" anonymous.. when your rating is linked to your user name, people aren't able to be honest. No one wants to be negative towards the organizer, especially when at the same time, you're trying to establish their friendship!

Please go back to the old rating system!
Put rating comments on the attendee side, not the general comments side, please! Do you guys even read these suggestions?

Add the option of additional venues after the original one.
My group is for getting together and riding motorcycles. We meet at a central location which is listed here as the venue, then we ride somewhere, and usually have a meal at a different location than the listed venue. I'd like to add these other venues to the meetup so we can rate the actual place we ate lunch, instead of the gas station we met at.

Why don't you support Google/ Google+ login authentication?
Why don't you support Google/ Google+ login authentication?
Why would you choose facebook over google? People are leaving
facebook by the millions and moving to google plus but yet your
website does not support google login authentication. It is
easy to code (20 minutes max) so why is this not implemented?5 votes -
Make it much simpler for people to find others in their city of residence.

have the page go back where you were last looking instead of having them go way back up almost to the beginning
I would like to be able to page down through events or comments and click on one to read it, then have the back arrow return me to the place I was just at, instead of having it bounce back up to the beginning. Having to continually use the Find More button to get back to the spot I was just at and then start again is quite time consuming and deters me from clicking on something because I know I'll have to start again.

I'm part of a golf meet up group and I was wondering if there was a calendar feature like doodle?
I'm part of a golf Meetup Group and I'd like to offer optional tee times to the group. Is there a Doodle like feature where members of the group can select appropriate times to meet?

Stop using "RSVP" as a verb and/or noun, please!!!
"RSVP" is an abbreviation that stands for "Répondez/réservez, s'il vous plait" -- meaning simply "Please respond" or "Please make a reservation". It's fine to use it as a stand-alone phrase, but not with a "please" in front or behind (as that is redundant); and it should NEVER be used as a noun or verb, because ... well, it isn't either.
Yes, I know that a lot of people in the US use it as such in a fallacious manner, but that doesn't make it right. It just makes me cringe every time I look at your widget on my phone…
