It would be neat to see who from the groups we belong to are currently on line. Additionally, it would be great to be able to Instant Message them.

Some people think of the week beginning on Sunday, some on Monday. Allow the calendar to be customized this way.

When "Members Add Meetups" and provide formatting (links, bold, etc) meetup should RETAIN this info in the text and NOT require an organizer to add it back.
When "Members Add Meetups", they should be able to SET "how many can come", questions asked, etc. EXCEPT for possible organizer approval, members should have FULL functionality "WYSIWYG" meetup creation capability, PLEASE!!

One of my meetups has a weekly meeting which I only occasionally attend, and I accidentally RSVP'd to the wrong one.

I don't want to say "yes" (since I don't know that i'll be coming that week), I don't want to say "no" (since I don't know that I won't be coming that week), and the Maybe option is gone, so I'm left with no exits

Have a way to RSVP right from the calendar. Both from the group calendar page and from the main calendar page. Give the he members a faster way to RSVP when you know what the event is and don't want to got to the event page.

Before, the phone number of the venue was right there to see, now we have to click on the venue to see the number. Too many clicks to do something simple. Why was that removed?

It appears MU is not reading this page or listening. The organizers have asked several times for the email addresses of its members. This is vital to those of us in business. As a paid service it is expected. In addition, many members sign up and forget. They delete MU emails. If we have their email addresses we can send reminders direct. Thank you. Please listen!

Above the photos on the right side panel on the homepage (or someone else visible) it would be great to have a sticky note there that the organizer could write something simple on it and everyone will see it and the organizer could erase and write something else whenever they need to. This would eliminate having to email members over every little thing.

If someone wants to be a Meetup group organizer (or co-organizer) they should be required to post their photo. There is no good reason to be anonymous and at the same time ask people to join them for an in-person meetup. Organizers should be visible so members can recognize them at the event and also for safety reasons.

Places functionality is being limited to organizers only. It is a big challenge as there are multiple entries for the same location. And as a member it was a needed feature to have.

I travel the world widely, leaving one city for the next. Rather than having to individually open/delete each group I am no longer attending in a former city, I request having a way to efficiently remove myself from multiple groups all at once: i.e., being able to do it from a single drop-down list on my account or profile.

I would like to make line breaks and urls in the comments and captions etc. Like often you see in other internet forums [br] or [url][/url]

I can't find a way to do that. Direct html tags seems to work when you write them, but when you come back, the tags are shown and format is gone.

Also there is many many programming meetup groups and [code] tag in the forums would help a lot!

So, just map [br] to br-tag, [url] to a-link-tag and [code] to pre-tag.

Put this Suggestions thing somewhere where people can find it!!!! Most sites have a Contact Us or Support tab where you can easily give feedback. I’m still not even sure how to get here. Had to get email one of the marketing girls to get the link. ??? Should be much easier than this. Please????? :)

Often, when surfing one of my meetups, I accidentally drag my cursor over a hot-spot and up comes a dialog with a thumbnail about a member or similar.

Problem is that they interfere with what I am trying to read and are hard to get out of the way. They don't drag and don't close with a click.

It is annoying and affects what people can click on the bottom of pages.

Why are Greeting "visible" to all. If a greeting is posted to me - I should be the only person who can see it. At least let us "hide" greetings. don't get why meetup thinks if someone leaves me a note everyone has the right to see it.
