Allow multiple groups to collaborate on a meetup with shared RSVP limit
Allow multiple groups to collaborate on a meetup and share on RSVP limit. Currently meetup groups could do so much more to encourage participation if they just had the ability to collaborate on group. As is, one group has to take the lead and that means joining that group and all the ratings attribute to that group which some organizers are not willing to let happen.

London (England) locations BADLY needed
I mentioned this during your founders meeting here in London earlier this year, but here it is again...
You SERIOUSLY need to have more of London's towns in your locations database.
When I type in "Wimbledon" I am offered "Wimbledon, North Dakota, USA" which has a population of 237!!!
I mean seriously, have you guy not heard of the Worlds biggest tennis tournament?
Or are those 237 people meetup.com shareholder?I would suggest starting with London's tube stations as some stations have over 66,000,000 people (Yes that's Sixty Six Million) going through them every year.
Lots of meetup groups here…183 votes -
verified member account ability for the organizer
Could you have a button like twitter so the organizer can say that the member is a verified account... I think others will feel better about communicating with other members if they are reassured that it is a real person. This will also help with the profiles that do not have pictures. At least the organizer can say they know it's a real person behind the account.

Ability to RSVP to the same recurring event on one web page .
I run a Dragon Boat club and we have weekly practices that occur on the same day and time. It would be nice to have the option to RSVP for all the events for the month at once.

Make "No-Shows" Visible to Everyone, not just Organizers
Currently, a member's no-shows are visible only to Organizers and Assistant Organizers. I strongly believe that if everyone could see a person's no-shows it would make them more accountable. People would no-show much less often if they knew everyone could see their no-show record. No-shows should be visible at the very least on the event page that the person no-showed for, if not on the person's actual profile.

Allow groups to police themselves - ban disruptive members by % vote
Meetup really needs an "I'd boot this person out of the group if I was in charge" feature. When x% of the group have checked that box (percentage configurable by group owner), they automatically get booted. Then groups could police themselves.

Prevent members from being able to RSVP to multiple events going on at the same time
We are having issues with members RSVPing "yes" to multiple meetups going on at the exact same time. Until cloning is perfected, no one can be in two places at once! Please make it so if someone has RSVPd to something, that time is blocked off. So if they try to RSVP to something else that conflicts with that time (or at least part of that time range if an end time is given), it will block them and tell them they are already signed up for something else at that time. I find members often RSVP to one event,…

RSVP on mouse-over
In order to speed up the RSVPing process, there should be a way to hover over the event on the calendar, and upon mouse-over, be able to click 'yes' or 'no' without having to enter the event link, or deal with it through email, etc.
If I'm missing something and this already exists, or something better, PLEASE let me know.
Thanks!!!

allow email addresses including a plus sign so I can filter my gmail by group
Using gmail, I can define addresses like "me+spam@gmail" or "me+favoritegroup@gmail". This was rejected when I signed up because it "doesn't look like an email address"

Make the calendar a main function tab again
The calendar is a huge part of everyones meetup groups. Why is it a secondary function? We should be able to access it from every page at all times.

Add predefined fields for speed and distance of Meetup events like hikes, bicycle rides and kayaking
Many Meetup events like bicycle rides, hikes, and kayak trips have a distance and speed that needs to be specified. Some Meetup leaders forget to add these important parameters to their Meetup description. It would be great if Meetup could add predefined fields for the trip distance and trip average speed that would appear just below the "What should we do?" and above the "More details" fields.

Wheelchair Accessibility Designation on Venue Listings
It would be most helpful if this information was indicated on the venue listings. I have often thought about attending events that were being held by other groups but was unable to determine if the venue was wheelchair accessible without contacting the organizer or venue. This information could be easily included by adding another field or option that would be chosen when adding a new venue or editing a current one on Meetup's venue listing.

PLEASE go back to old setup with comments/reviews/RSVP comments!!!
It was so great to be able to scroll down old events and see people's feedback/review of the event right there on the main page, as opposed to below as a general comment in the comment thread. Also, I just discovered that when people RSVP their profile responses show up. It was SO MUCH BETTER when they could post something helpful and critical with their RSVP that would show up there instead, such as "Can drive", "have group pass to park", etc. I don't get what the value is in seeing the person's first responses to their profile questions in…

Member Page Calendar: Different Color for YES RSVPs Days
I'd like to look at my personal calendar on my Member page and know immediately if I've said "YES" to any Meetups on particular days of the month. Therefore, I propose that blocks on members’ personal calendars show a different color than the blue, specifically on days that the member has a YES RSVP, such as the same GREEN as used for “going” that is seen next to the listings below the calendar. That way, it would take just a quick glance for members to see that they've already obligated to something on a particular day of the month. I…

Allow RSVP "YES/NO/MAYBE" ALL within selectable date range on meetup groups' calendar page
Select date range on calendar page like Google Calendar and then provide the option to RSVP either yes/no/maybe to all events selected within that range.

You have Thumbs up/down facilty on events comments...Add this facilty on discussion comments too, to 'reward' posts.
Currently people usually only get replies to discussion posts if others disagree, but no feedback where people agree. This can be demoralising and doesn't encourage people to post. A thumbs up /down would be a quick and easy way to show agreement, without having to post the boring 'yes I agree", and this gives 'reward' for good postings.
