I mentioned this during your founders meeting here in London earlier this year, but here it is again...

You SERIOUSLY need to have more of London's towns in your locations database.
When I type in "Wimbledon" I am offered "Wimbledon, North Dakota, USA" which has a population of 237!!!
I mean seriously, have you guy not heard of the Worlds biggest tennis tournament?
Or are those 237 people meetup.com shareholder?

I would suggest starting with London's tube stations as some stations have over 66,000,000 people (Yes that's Sixty Six Million) going through them every year.
Lots of meetup groups here in London arrange to meet near Tube stations and people tend to organise their plans via how close they are to Tube (or rail) stations.

We are having issues with members RSVPing "yes" to multiple meetups going on at the exact same time. Until cloning is perfected, no one can be in two places at once! Please make it so if someone has RSVPd to something, that time is blocked off. So if they try to RSVP to something else that conflicts with that time (or at least part of that time range if an end time is given), it will block them and tell them they are already signed up for something else at that time. I find members often RSVP to one event, and then when another event is posted at the same time they like better, they'll RSVP to that one WITHOUT removing themselves from the first one. This will force them to do that and to choose one or the other! Thanks.

It would be most helpful if this information was indicated on the venue listings. I have often thought about attending events that were being held by other groups but was unable to determine if the venue was wheelchair accessible without contacting the organizer or venue. This information could be easily included by adding another field or option that would be chosen when adding a new venue or editing a current one on Meetup's venue listing.

The Americans with Disabilities Act was passed in 1990. The ADA is a wide-ranging civil rights law that prohibits, discrimination based on disability. While I don't believe that it regulates website design, it does regulate public accommodations and commercial facilities. Public accommodations include most places of lodging, such as inns and hotels, recreation, transportation, education, and dining, along with stores, parks, theaters and places of public displays. A vast number of Meetup's events take place in regulated venues. I would hope that Meetup Corporation would be cognizant of these laws and be willing to accommodate their disabled members by providing access information on their venue listing.

It was so great to be able to scroll down old events and see people's feedback/review of the event right there on the main page, as opposed to below as a general comment in the comment thread. Also, I just discovered that when people RSVP their profile responses show up. It was SO MUCH BETTER when they could post something helpful and critical with their RSVP that would show up there instead, such as "Can drive", "have group pass to park", etc. I don't get what the value is in seeing the person's first responses to their profile questions in the RSVP box. PLEASE GO BACK...IT WAS AWESOME THE WAY IT WAS!!! :-)

I'd like to look at my personal calendar on my Member page and know immediately if I've said "YES" to any Meetups on particular days of the month. Therefore, I propose that blocks on members’ personal calendars show a different color than the blue, specifically on days that the member has a YES RSVP, such as the same GREEN as used for “going” that is seen next to the listings below the calendar. That way, it would take just a quick glance for members to see that they've already obligated to something on a particular day of the month. I bet the gurus at Meetup can make this happen!
