Be able to turn a Note into a Scheduled Event
Right now we can turn Ideas into events. It'd be great to be able turn a Note into a Scheduled Event. I use the Notes for unofficial events, but sometimes there is enough interest from members to turn it into an officially scheduled event. Would be nice to have a button that will export the date/time/info into the event scheduler

Add bespoke text to meetup members home page
Currently you are only allowed to add a maximum of around 100 characters of plain text to the top of the meetup homepage.
Our club has a need to put some announcement / bespoke text on the front page as a message to our members (these are not meetups).
Currently not possible. Suggest you allow html ( at least we could put some links in) and increase the number of characters in this area.
Currently a real disabler for Meetup

Make it possible to add non-members to the attendance count.
Currently it's possible to adjust the attendance count after an event but the the Meetup site states that the attendees were all members or guests of a particular member. We advertise our group outside of Meetup.com as well and always have attendees that are neither members nor guests of any particular member.

Allow Guest RSVP default limits to be adjusted by Organizer for all events for thier group.
I have 3 kids, and many of the events that I organize are family friendly. Each time I hold one of these events I have to go in and change the default RSVP guest limits to greater than 2. It would be great if I could change the Guest Limit RSVP default for my group so I didn't have to change this each time I plan an event. I have seen requests for this in the past, and the response was that we just change it for each event, and then the ticket was closed. Not the best customer service…

Add a statistic that counts the number of events lead by the event organizers.
Add a statistic that counts the number of events lead by the event organizers. That way, the organizer can easily tally the number of events the event leaders did in a quarter and reward them with recognition, gift, etc. This would also be a way to raise incentives for other organizers to participate more actively.

Copying events to multiple groups
I have 6 groups and have to create the same event for multiple groups. I would LOVE the ability to set up ONE event that could be shared with multiple groups at once. Help!

Automatically notify members when you create a poll seeking their preferences on different topics.
While an organizer can currently send an email to members with a link to a new poll, an option to automatically send members a notification when the poll is created would speed up the process and seems more intuitive and much simpler.

Allow organizers to opt out of Not Going email updates
I have a very large group and am SICK of getting email updates that members are "not going" to an event. I couldn't care less who is not going, just who is going. I think there should be an option for organizers to opt out of "not going" email updates.

Allow organizers to collect member email / contact information from meetup database or provide more robust CRM tools
One of the challenges my group faces is that we cannot collect basic information from meetup from the members we have in our group and are unable to run any demographics of where people live or where best to hold our events. These are basic CRM functions. We can also not port out member information to Mail Chimp or Constant Contact for better newsletter management. Meetup has served our group well, but any group or organization of any size would need to abandon the meetup platform without being able to better connect with group members. Solution for this would be…

Badge the organizers in comments
Would be nice to distinguish and badge the organizers in comments/conversations sections so it's easy to see organizers responses which may have important and critical info for members.

Get Rid of 'Will You Attend' and the 'No' radio button. Just put 'I'm Attending'
I see that there were previous polls on this, but the option hasn't changed. The RSVP 'No' feature should only be available if someone has said they are attending, but then changes their mind. I don't need to know who isn't interested or unavailable to attend unless they initially said 'Yes'.
Remove the question 'Will You Attend' and the 'Yes' 'No' Option, replace it with 'I'm Attending'. Maybe allow Organizers to also specify how long after they say 'Yes' that they say 'No', so that the chronic 'No' sign-up people don't try to get around the lack of the 'No'…9 votes -
Organizer Announcements & News
Please please please can their be a section on the front page where Organizers can post Announcements to the group? I hate to e-mail them all the time and the message board doesn't work good for this purpose. Some users only go to the front page.
Just a section where all members that sign in will definitely see!

Allow exporting of rsvp list to Excel
I'd like to be able to export rsvp lists to Excel and reformat them with the notes I need for an effective registration process. Seems very strange that we cannot do this!

There is a critical issue regarding the automated waiting list.
Let’s say I have a cap on RSVP’s at 20 people, and there are five people on the waiting list, of which the first person in line has a plus one, so they are really a party of two people. The remaining three people are not coming with a guest.
Well, if one person drops off the confirmed RSVP’s, leaving 19 people, the two people at the top of the list don’t fill the spot, instead a person whom has no guest below the person with a plus one is automatically added. Wow, that really makes some people mad, and…

Needed- sub-meetup groups to the main meetup group
Allow for the creation of sub-meetup groups linked to the main meetup group.
1. Allows for ease of managing different locations/sites from one area
2. Gives organisers a global view
3. Reduces overall operating cost for an organisation8 votes -
add a function for "minimum attendance" - that is, if (say) 10 people have not RSVP'd "yes" then the session will not take place
