App for organizers to set up meetups and do all what we do online.

The iPhone app is fantastically useful. I'd love to see it become a universal app for iPad too.

Instead of putting the meetup venue address only in the Location field of the CALENDAR when you click ADD TO CALENDAR feature, include the address in the NOTES.

By doing this, the iPhone recognises the address in the NOTES field and converts it to a google maps search link, allowing ONE CLICK linking to maps rather than needing to remember or copy and paste the address between apps.

Location then need only be the venue name or the town or city (or both!) without all the extra info.

I would like to be able to access the Meetup discussion boards - to view and participate in the discussion through my iPhone app.

When Meetup sends emails that mention a new or existing group, I would love to be able to click on the email and have the group open in the iPhone app.

For a new group notification, I have to search for group in the iPhone app.

We would like the option to display the waiting list in chronological order instead of alphabetical from the iPhone App. People on the wait list want to know how far they are from possibly being added to an event if somebody cancels.

This is to avoid the many times we check in on Foursquare but forget to check in on Meetup. Either that or there needs to be a way we can check-in on past events, say until 24 hours after the event has closed or something to that effect.

We find that the events get more future attendees IF we post photos of the event. Make it easy to take iphone photos and post them to the meetup event while it is going on or after.

Currently when you add to iPhone calendar the default alert time is 15 mins, which pretty much always has to be changed. Allow an option in the app to choose the default alert time

I'm not always in an area that has GPS service or I may not want your app tracking me. Your android app blocks me completely unless I let it have access to GPS. Not happening. I deinstalled app and won't re-install till I hear you've altered that.

Would be nice to integrate Passbook into the app so that it becomes easier to flip open the passbook app to check in to the event. Integration with Foursquare and Uber would be super nice since can open up venues and check in directly to the Meet up.

Photo uploads on a mobile device (iPhone) is horribly broken. It requires too many clicks. Why can't I upload a bunch of photos quickly?
Right now you have to do the following steps:
- click on upload photo
- click on camera roll
- select photo
- hit continue
- hit upload

So many clicks to upload 1 photo. Then rinse, lather, repeat.

app should allow the option to bounce between meet up groups you already belong to :)

Sometimes members indicate their yes/no is more of a "maybe" or post a question in their response. When I'm on the app, I can't see any comments in the yes/no responses.

Right now if you get a push alert for new comments or photos and there are multiple meetups that have them, you are taken to a list of your meetups with no indication of which meetups actually have the new comments or photos. I would suggest when you select a push notification about these that the app only display the meetups (past, present, and future) that actually contain the items. Right now, the push notification is useless since people aren't going to go through their meetups one by one to see which ones have new notifications/photos.
