i need a way to search for events based on WHEN not WHAT I want...I am looking for any weekday afternoons events.
My work shift changed, I'm free from 1pm-7pm...most meet ups happen when I have to get to bed (8pm). At this stage I'm not picky...I just want to see what's out there to do in the Afternoon but I have no way to search that way. Thanks

I would love to see all incoming meetups from my groups on a map, with the possibility to filter by theme, day or area, see basic info about the meetup, and quickly join it from there.

Display an age range histogram of Meetup members for a group or individual meetup.

There is no advanced search, or even a good search option to find meetups. Even google search seems to work better. Crazy stuff!! It becomes especially hard when you want to find meetups that are specific or out of town.

A person should have the option of canceling a pending membership request and also the option of not having the group with the passive/aggressive approval process show up under "groups you might like."

I have joined 17 Meetup groups, many looking for events or ideas that my daughter and I can do. Since she is in preschool in the morning and many of the events are in the morning, I can only delete them from my mailbox. If I was able to limit to the events that i was available for, that would be great.

Finding meetup groups and events are easy, but when managing multiple RSVPs, the tiny one-third-of-the-screen calendar is so frustrating! This is the whole purpose of meetup.com, let's make it big enough to be useful! (And maybe not have to click "more" to view upcoming meetups)

Currently Organisers are limited to describing their Meetup groups using just 15 topics. Please could you consider raising this to 25-30 topics? In busy metropolitan areas, it is easy to reach out to large numbers of new members with only a few topics listed, however in regional areas such as where I live, extra topics can make all the difference in reaching and bringing in new members. Please consider.

I would like to form a team that likes dogs and there really isn't a category for it. Dogs are a great way to socialize, meet people and to lose weight, get outdoors and many more great features.

Right now the normal and occupy together meetups are seperated world without any support to move from one into the other or back.

I am very happy with how I search for Meetup groups. What I am not happy with is Meetup groups I never have expressed an interest in popping up because, and this is only my theory, someone else with whom I'm in another group is in this particular group. This clutters up my email and my Meetup account. I don't even like the suggestions which are so far from my interests to be in another dimension.

To reduce many, many pages of result, while searching, allow Members to add what they're NOT interested in, eg., "-tennis"; -"dance", -beer, etc.

It's not possible to organize a meetup in Macau....there are tons for Hong Kong...what's the deal meetup.com?
